number of research doesnt matter as much. Quality(number of citations, papers published in reputable Western journals, practical significance, etc.) does. Chinese might surpass USA(in nos.) in future, but quality of American research papers will always be far better.

if your research is not in English no matter how interesting it is don't except it to be recited in European or American journals.
