Pakistan Army Weapons loss in War in Terror

Salam, I am a Defence Blogger and currently writing an article on Pakistan military heavy weapons loss in War on terror. I have searched online but didn't found sufficient information. I am sure top military experts are present here so you guys can help me. Please share material about this topic.

What I know:

We lost ca. 2-4 Mi-17 Helicopters

The FC lost some APC

ca. 100-200 Toyota Pick-up Vans and Hino/Isuzu Trucks

ca. 10-20 Tanks Type-59IIM an Al Zarrar

Many MG-3 machine Guns were captured by the TTP

G-3,RPG-7, Ak-47.... thats logical.


Our Army on the other side did captured many modern Guns and Rifles, Rocket launcher tubes, 12,7mm and 14,5mm AA Guns..........

there is no official notifications of such losses of heavy materials. what we read are just 'guess-timates'

2-cobras - 1 written off, 1 recovered. 1 bell 412, 1 puma, several mushaks
