Pakistan-administered Kashmir's PM calls for 'military' action

Agreed 100% that Modi and RSS represent a clear and present danger to the ideology of India. As a person of Indian origin (and I'm saying this not to score brownie points but as an outsider having spent literally no time in India), it is my belief that India needs to actively practice separation of temple and state with no religions being permitted to be practiced outside of home and place of worship.

Additionally Indian administered Kashmir needs to be governed by a combination of 2 Pakistani, 2 Indian, 1 UN and 1 kashmiri representative for a period of 25 years with India responsible for 45%, Pakistan 30%, and UN 25% of the costs involved in running the autonomous state.

Finally a plebiscite cam be conducted in AJK and IAK to determine the future course of action for the Kashmiri people.

Mistakes were made, lives were lost, hate was inculcated, there is reason enough at the present time to have daggers at each others throat, but there is no reason in the future for the two countries to chart a course of mutual strength and cultural ties beyond the influence of the P5.

Call it the hope of a father who wants to see his children not grow up with the threat of a nuclear winter.

look, India knows what the Kashmiris are going to pick if there ever was a plebiscite. so India is never going to let it happen.

Naive and unrealistic.

Wouldn't be if people were not afraid of their earthy overlords.
Fear and lack of faith has ruined many nations and made cowards out of their men.

Do you know how many men it took to overcome Spain? Or the Romans?
There were plenty calling that naive and unrealistic but guess who triumphed?

Change your name if you lack what it takes mate :-)

Both Pakistan and India are nuclear states.

Therefore entering into a full-fledged conflict is catastrophe for both sides.

Instead Pakistan should isolate India using aggressive diplomacy.

The proposal forwarded to foreign office of Pakistan by the prime minister of Pakistan-administered Kashmir are the initial steps. More should follow.......

"I have suggested that [the Pakistan-administered Kashmir government] (1) open offices in the P5 countries [and in] (2) Saudi Arabia, UAE, Malaysia, Indonesia, Iran and Turkey, as well as (3) establish embassies in Geneva and EU headquarters at Brussels, and (4) at the UN headquarters in New York. We need to work in these countries to save people from India's fascist designs. [Indian Prime Minister Narendra] Modi is a new Hitler of the 21st century."

Meanwhile ISI should carry out clandestine operations inside Indian Occupied Kashmir and other parts of India with three major goals - (1) complete collapse of India's economy, (2) create political turmoil, (3) total failure of law and order - an end game similar to USSR in early 90s.

The West needs/wants India as a buffer against growing Chinese influence in our continent and its surrounding naval routes. No amount of diplomatic antics will change this geostrategic position. We shouldn't waste too much time here. The Israel model is in front of us --- despite indulging in what many consider apartheid and serious war crimes (and a totally illegal occupation), the West continues to support it. That's why it's naive to thing that we can influence Western policymakers with our "dossiers" (things their intel agencies probably already know.)

Your final paragraph is the only one that we need to follow. Raise the cost. Introduce fear of consequences. Proliferate insurgency knowhow.

These things are discussed to death in military circles. Nobody does it. You need a daring and brave top brass with balls and creativity, not politicians in generals' clothing looking for deals.
how ?

PTI trolls ( mostly naive stupid teens themselves) , running unchecked here on this board, will post all sort of nonsense one liners to defend their commander in chief

heres the latest in kashmir -

1. india has consolidated its hold, has reinforced garrisons and strengthened its defensive postures thanks to our tweet diplomacy

2. the local freedom movement cannot do much without pakistani support ( which IMMI khan , under pressure from IMF , has withdrawn)

3. FATF has clearly threatened to put pakistan in blacklist if we plan anything in Kashmir covertly ...

Actually, the PM doesn't have too much say (esp one without a 2/3rds majority in parliament of his own party.) The real blame lies with GHQ. Let's not pretend.

Finally --- good to see some people who haven't bought into the defensive / pacifist BS mindset.

There are many ways to wage war other than a full blown invasion. We should be using those means but our top brass seem more concerned with political maneuvering.

I agree with you. Modi was brought for economy, but he is more focused on mandir these days.

It is good in principle, but there are a lot of ifs and buts in this.
Even if magically the leaders and the country agrees, what about Jammu & Ladakh? Most of them want to remain with India. If we leave them out of above solution, then Pak wont agree.
And what about this UN sharing 25% of costs? Why would UN pay anything?
And who would provide security to this autonomous state? Which areas will be managed by Indian army and which areas Pak army?
In case of accidental fight between the armies, what is the de-escalation procedure so that the entire agreement does not breakdown in a flash.

The only clean solution is clean separation. Make de-jure what has been de-facto. Convert LOC into IB.

Simple get rid of Kashmir pm and bring hardcore azadi pm. Implement mandatory military service.
Too bad azad kashmir busy with love poems and family feuds. Those with roots to azad k overseas can be inducted into military.

from where we stand.. i think you are doing an excellent job of destroying your self.
Yupp in 6 months we will be standing in front of FATF to get our handcuffs out of grey list. And pakistan the member of FATF will vote and decide our fate.

Pakistan has complied with most of FATF requirement,
