KARACHI: A senior Navy officer said on Saturday that Pakistan was fully capable of giving effective response to the enemy during any border clash, Geo News reported.

Speaking to media in Ormara, where the navies of Pakistan and Saudi Arab are busy in war games, Vice Admiral Zakaullah said that Pakistan was not concerned due to New Delhi’s naval capability as it had the ability to defend itself from against any aggression.

He told that two PC-3 Orean aircraft were damaged during a militant attack on Navy’s Mehran Base in Karachi.

Indian navy can lanch an attack on Pakistan....Pakistan navy cant do that to India..

Strange but a signal to India, warning of serious consequences in return of any aggression. Something going to be cooked but not clear how Pakistan is ready to get reaction and stand solid.

Also the initial attack would be spearheaded by our Navy fighter aircrafts (carier based) and missiles. If face to face confrontation happens, (I highly doubt it), PNs best chance would be not to be drawn into the open sea as IN would be looking to do the exact. Once in the open, 8 out of 10 times the carrier group could successfully engage the defenders into a decisive offensive.
