OIC FMs vow support for Kashmiri people’s Right to Self-Determination

Adopting the reports of Contact Group on Kashmir, Foreign Ministers of Islamic countries have called for resolution of the decades-old Kashmir dispute between Pakistan and India, a media report said today.
At their annual coordination meeting Friday, the foreign ministers of 57 member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) adopted the reports of various OIC Contact Groups, including the one on Jammu & Kashmir, which reaffirmed the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people in accordance with the relevant UNSC resolutions, Samaa TV reported.
The meeting, it said, was chaired by Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Foreign Minister of Kuwait and attended by Foreign Ministers of member states and Secretary-General of the OIC.
