What's new

Opinion: The time for equivocating about a nuclear-armed, Taliban-friendly Pakistan is over

If it wasn't even close to happening in 2000s and 2010s, it sure ah won't happen now...

Bolton's being wrong ofcourse, in his wet dreams he is thinking of bringing "freedom" to Pak rn
But they were dependent on us in past and hence couldn't Levy sanctions but now there's no such hindrance

But they were dependent on us in past and hence couldn't Levy sanctions but now there's no such hindrance
Let's see, if in a year something doesn't happen, Pak is probably safe

And even if sanctions happen within that time frame, it'll probably be millitary related as in against generals etc

From now Pakistan should address India as "US closest ally India" or "US important quad member India" and then add news after it. Such as about the security lapses of medical/non-medical uranium/plutonium leakages and subsequent arrest of the smugglers in India.

Even use such phrases when Dehli/UP etc attack on mosques, minorities, or pass inhumane laws like CAA,
It would be better if we use exact US politicians statement in the phrase. Like Bliken used for India not to backside from democracy. An example can be: "The world biggest democracy and US closest ally India has barred Muslims refugees from Afghanistan" #NoBackside

P.S The Pressler amendment were passed in 1986 but not enforced until 91-92
