Paradise Point, Karachi in the 70's.

A Sad State of Affairs. There are times when you feel Paradise Point calling. You go back, expecting it to have evolved over years into a perfect getaway for Karachi wallas but No! The arch has gone and so has the infrastructure and fleeting optimism.

The recreational area around the rocks look like a horror film set now. The only entertainer at the show is Mother Nature itself.

Palace Hotel. First time I visited this hotel in early 70s. Architecture and furniture was Victorian. Later on it demolished and a new hotel with the name of Sheraton was built. It converted into Move-n-pick.
