In addition, China will soon acquire the port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands. China.

In 2016, China has obtained the port of Piraeus, a Greek port.

Now, the first, second and third ports in Europe will all belong to China.

Hamburg port always triggers wars.
Chinese companies have also acquired the port of Kunport in Turkey.

The Italian government is also negotiating with Chinese enterprises on the sale of Genoa Port and Trieste Port.

Godbless Italy, and USA.

what do you mean "belong to China"? look up the term 'controlling interest' COSCO stake in Hamburg is only 25%. Besides if COSCO acts against German interest the Germans will simply kick COSCO out or have you forgotten what Germany did to Gazprom.

Can’t believe China runs it now

wtf? isn't Rotterdam like, the busiest port of Europe?

Yes, Rotterdam is the largest port in Europe. Chinese enterprises have acquired 35% shares in Rotterdam.

Now the two sides are negotiating, and China is about to acquire more shares to take full control of the port.

Do you know what the German Prime Minister's visit to China has brought? Volkswagen, BMW, Siemens, Merck, BASF and other 12 large German enterprises decided to invest and transfer factories to China.

Do Americans really believe that if the British were ordered to bomb Nord Stream 2, the Germans would give in?

The Germans would rather give these industries to China than to the United States.

thats a leap. You really ought to put down that Xi koolaid. I asked you to justify your claim that Hamburg port 'belongs' to China but instead you went on a tangent.

By the way BMW announced an investment of 1.7 Billion USD in a battery plant in the US. As did Mercedes, BASF and other large German businesses - so what? Besides the US is by far the largest FDI investor in Germany - so what? If German businesses invests a few billion dollars in Dutch Antilles does that mean Germany is now an ally to that country?

Olaf Scholz is a climate fanatic who thinks that in 10 years Hamburg will be drown cause of climate change rising sea level and that he strip china with that and done a good deal..................................................... ............................................yes, you can give me a hug and a ounce of pity........................................................

There is absolutely nothing wrong to give port operation rights to the Chinese. They make all the equipment, the cranes, the stackers and straddle carriers. 100% of Kalmar and Konecranes container handling equipment is made in China (same with other global port handling equipment suppliers) and the Chinese operate ports bigger than Antwerp, Rotterdam or Hamburg in China, their experience in cost reduction and efficiency is well known.

Germans are logical people, they know what is best for their infra.

Less than 25 percent
Will be treated as financial investment.
Ethnic Chinese entities and China run and own some of the largest ports on earth mate. Piraeus port was in deep shit until we saved it. It's an embarrassment to need us Chinese to teach Europe how to run a port properly.

Germany is showing signs if kowtowing to China. Their industries are getting destroyed by the lack of cheap Russian gas, and now they are moving the production to China. Basf China is now their main production centre. Volkswagon will now use China as their main export hub.

A quarter of the voting rights mate. Why do you think it was so controversial? Thanks to Biden we now have a deindustrialized Germany, benefiting China.CheaP Russian gas is now flowing to China. We now have a bew ally, if Russia was in NATo, we wouldve been fcked. The new century is indeed a new Chinese century. The heavens mandate has jow risen, the Han shall rise again.
