Recently, HMD Global, the Finnish company that has partnered with Nokia to make phones under the “Nokia” brand name, announced the Nokia 6. The phone proved to be a success as it sold out in the Chinese market in just under a minute. Although the Nokia 6 was China exclusive, we may soon see another Nokia smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 that will be available globally.

Rumors had been going around for quote some time, but the newest leak confirms what the next killer device from Nokia will offer. Take a look at the upcoming Nokia P1’s renders below:

The Nokia P1
The manufacturer has already sent out invites for the possible launch event of the P1 on February 27th at the MWC.

According to a video which claimed to show the Nokia P1, the upcoming flagship from Nokia will have all-metal body that is curved around the edges with a near bezelless screen. However, you’ll be treated with glass on the front and also on the back which will give the P1 a much more premium look.

Specifications
On the performance side of things, the Nokia P1 is expected to come with the mighty Snapdragon 835 with an impressive 6GB of RAM. However, rumors suggest that Samsung has already booked the production line over at Qualcomm and no other manufacturer will be able to get hands on the SD835.

According to some reports then, the P1 might come with the SD821 instead, but considering the impact Nokia is aiming to make, they might not settle for anything less than the Snapdragon 835.

As far as the display in concerned, rumors suggest that the Nokia P1 will feature a 5.3-inch IGZO display that will come with 4k resolution. Another one suggests at least one variant of 2560 x 1440 pixels aka QHD resolution as well.

For the camera, there’s supposedly a 22.6MP sensor with Carl Zeiss lens on the back of the phone along with, what looks like, a triple LED flash. The front is said to feature an 8MP camera. Both of the camera will have exceptional low light capabilities with the rear camera also having 4K recording capability and OIS.

To keep the phone running throughout the day, the P1 will comes with an astounding 4,000mAh battery, still a rare sight in flagship phones.
