I think that remains to be done.In the video some devices with wiring are seen hung on the ceiling.I think they should have been meant for that purpose.

Nice video and massive tunnels, obviously very beneficial for people who'd use it. What care were you driving? A truck or a sedan? Just curious as the video has a feel as if it was made while driving a truck (like the double cabins you find in this area). Thanks.

Excellent video. What tunneling technique was used ? Tbm not used so must be incremental blasting and drilling. I believe this was made in 3 years by the chinese. 7 km tunnel in 3 years is pretty good for the mountains.

incremental blasting was used drilling was not the problem the Chinese found various water sources inside the tunnel so they had to create some sort of outlet for the water to pass through if you stop at some places inside the tunnel you can hear the water flowing around the tunnel.

As long as you allow water to drain their is no issue. Common problem in dams if water starts to accumulate, drains have to be made.
