At the same time, he admitted committing mistakes towards the end of his tenure and the controversial National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) granting amnesty to politicians and bureaucrats accused of corruption was one of them.

Oh so you are one of the closet Talibans ... thank Allah for President Musharraf otherwise we would have become Taliban central!! I love him because he is against any form of extremism whether it be religious or liberal!!

Think before typing and make the best use of the privilege granted to you by this prestigious forum.

President Musharraf will come back on the 23rd of March, 2012. He has stated very clearly that he will face ANY & ALL cases against him. Remember he fought two wars for this country so he is not afraid of these cases.

As far as APML is concerned, it is run by many senior politicians, including Dr. Sher. Here is the link for office bearers:

President's friends don't need to rip him off as they are very rich as a matter of fact his friends are richer than him and we take pride in the fact that our leader is teh only honest leader in Pakistan.

haha, I am sure you are a PTI supporter who is so engulfed in hate for others that he doesn't even know that his own leader has invited APML to join his dharna ;)

I am sure and hopeful that PTI and APML will work together otherwise I would have given you befitting response :)

Here is what Ch. Fawad posted on FB:

"On the invitation of PTI, APML has decided to support dharna of PTI in Islamabad,Secy General APML MOhammad ALi Saif has requested all APML workers in ISL/Rawalpindi to please show your presence...."

mujhey hansi ati hai aur rona bhi

There is a hadees, may Allah forgive me for quoting wrong, that investigate before spreading a news.

Did you read his book? A TV anchors distorts a para from president's book and you are simply quoting that!

President never gave any Pakistani to the USA!!! The agreement was that Pakistan will deal with Pakistanis; forign extremists will be handed over to the their respective govts and IF they refuse to accept them then they will be handed over to the USA. After stating that President wrote in his book that Pakistan handed over many people to the USA and also earned money. People mix these two facts and think Pakistan handed over Pakistanis and recieved funds which is clearly not the case!! Pakistan onmly handed over those foriegners who were not accpeted by their own govts.

Now as far as danda is concerned, I think this is the language you use in your household therefore you are using this lingo on this forum for a man who is probably your father's age. So if you disagree with your father do you say that "abba ji mey tenu danda pa dawanga OR do you say that kash meray nana aur dada ko angrez ney danda na kiya hota tu shayad un ki nasal bhi sahee Muslim aur parhee likhi hoti

Peoiple do not confuses this - it is the propaganda of the islamist that has been successful - For sympathizers of the Islamists, the fact that Musharraf decided to challenge them is unacceptable.

As for PTI, it's a net zero - The entire thing is a army arrangement and lets be clear what kind of man divorces his wife just so he can be the agency's man in politics.

He had his chance and what did he do he did a deal to bring ppp and pna crooks back. I was very disapointed in that.

Utter nonsense, Gen. Musharraf had nothing to do with them coming into power. PPP and PML-N were elected by illiterate individuals of this nation who vote on the basis of 'baradari' and wadayras.

Blame the people who voted.

Musharraf is the one who gave you rescue 1122, local bodies, motorway police and countless other things.

50 reasons Pakistan needs Musharraf

By Syed Ali Raza Abidi

Prime Minister Gilani said at the National Assembly session to leave former president Pervez Musharraf to himself and let him exercise his right to a political career in Pakistan. President Zardari said that if Musharraf wants to return, he will have to cross the same bumpy road as him to get to the presidency or premiership. Nawaz Sharif, Chaudhry Shujaat and the remaining politicians, including religious parties, want him tried for treason, Dr Aafia’s case and introducing extremism in the country.

Since the launch of his party on October 1, Musharraf has been on a political offensive. He has talked about the deal with Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto. He has also reportedly accepted that the military trained jihadis to force India to the discussion table to resolve the Kashmir issue – a statement which he has now backtracked from.

His opinions and speeches have led most of his opponents to start wondering what he’s been smoking!

49. There are now more than 5,000 Pakistanis doing PhDs in foreign countries on scholarship. 300 Pakistanis receive PhD degrees every year, in 1999, the number was just 20.

50. In total, 99,319 educational institutions increased in Musharraf’s era!

This was some of the good Musharraf delivered to Pakistan during his martially-democratic rule from 1999 to 2008. Strange how quickly we forget his foreign policy efforts, which helped elevate the image of Pakistan globally added acceptance value to our green passports. Even the Indians next door were ready to discuss Kashmir for a solution and praised the man for his sincerity, honesty and amicable handling of the issues.

Of course, he has the right to tell his opponents, “tameez say baat karo, warna munh toor jawab millayga” and it is true that most of them are keeping quiet since he said this in a recent interview with Express TV.

I feel he knows more than what he has already said so far, and may explode if not “handled with caution”. This goes for all the politicians cum armed forces of Pakistan. Hence, be careful everyone, the General is coming back as a civilian!
