The so called human right and free western countries will never raise a question about such incident thru diplomatic channel.

Do you think anyone in any European nation is not aware how horrible india is?

Where are the white knight champions of human rights now? This isn't an isolated incident but widespread violations of women rights.

What do you expect us to do?

West never goes after its loyal doggies.

You have no idea how small events in Pakistan get promoted in international media that end up defining our character for a big part of the world. Indians do it and they have been doing it for decades. They operate in all major media outlets with the sole purpose of exposing every minor event in Pakistan. Nowadays they do the same with Chinese.
So if anything bad happens in India it is Indian specific and has nothing to do with what goes on in Pakistan or any other country.
The reason they have a propaganda lead on Pakistan is not because individual people choose to express their opinions according to their conscience on an open forum, it's because your governments and your institutions have been criminally negligent in doing the jobs they were either elected for or they were appointed and paid to do.
Your politicians, you know, the ones that to this day seek funding, patronage and backing from foreign powers in order to get into positions of power and then carry out the agendas of said foreign powers have been the ones who have sold you out and down the river and looted the country to within an inch of bankruptcy. They have watched while the enemies of Pakistan have caused untold damage to Pakistani interests, all for the sake of getting in power and staying there. They have been kow towing to Indian leaders for their own personal interests while the same Indian leaders have been funding terrorism in Pakistan, that is the time when we should have been building a counter narrative. We had a Kashmir committee that never spoke about Kashmir and chose to live fat and accumulate assets from the funds that were supposed to be used to raise a voice for Kashmir and still we raise slogans in favour of them and we will be voting in our millions to bring them back.
As we speak, people who would destroy our country, who would destroy our country in the name of Islamic fundamentalism are colluding with a Hindu fundamentalist government in order to achieve their aims of destroying the Pakistani state.
These are the reasons you get a bad press in the world not because a person like me chooses to highlight the iniquities, cruelties and injustices that are perpetrated and tolerated in my own country.
I don't give a flying fig about India as a state, but I do care that human beings anywhere should be able to live their lives with dignity and free of oppression and I will continue to voice my opinion to that effect, if that is OK with you.

Like this also doesn't happen in Pakistan? why do people on here obsess over rape cases in India, its not like women are treated like princesses in Pakistan
There can be idiots everywhere, what can we do? There are subhuman creatures in every part of the world.
India and Pakistan are filled with them

A 20-year-old mother-of-one was gang raped and tortured before she was dragged through a jeering crowd that attacked her.
Police arrested 11 people, including nine women and minors, after the horrific scenes on Wednesday in Delhi, India.
The woman was reportedly abducted from her home by four men and raped.

Her head was shaved and her face blackened with soot before she was paraded on foot as the crowd jeered her.

The gang rape was allegedly an act of revenge by the family of a teenage boy who took his own life last November after the woman, who is married and has a three-year-old son, turned him down.

The boy's family had reportedly threatened the woman before, forcing her to move home.
The victim's sister, 18, said the teenage boy had fallen in love with her and his family blamed the 20-year-old woman for his death.
'[He] fell in love with her,' she told NewsLaundry. 'He used to keep calling and asking her to leave her husband and be with him. She would always refuse.'

Footage went viral of the victim being hauled through the streets while being hit and jeered.
Responding to the video, women's rights activist Yogita Bhayana said: 'The incident in Delhi's Kasturbanagar left me speechless.
'Some women kept walking her around for two hours! All the women involved must be arrested and severely punished.'
Delhi police said they were investigating and expected to arrest more people soon.

The city's chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, said the attack was 'shameful'.
The victim is thought to be in a stable condition and is being guarded by police in a safe house in Delhi.
India is known for having an endemic issue around sexual violence, particularly rape, which gained prominence after the horrific 2012 Delhi gang rape on board a bus during which a female student was killed.
Though the issue frequently makes headlines in India following that attack, tens of thousands of rapes are still reported each year - with many tens of thousands more suspected to go un-reported.
Despite pledges by politicians and police chiefs to take offences more seriously, the conviction rate for reported rapes in India remains below 30 per cent and has done for at least the last decade.
India also has a particular problem with sexual violence against minors, with around a fifth of victims in any given year being under the age of 18.

India is a sick nation, this could almost be forgotten as a social issue, if this thread was already filled with condemnation from Indians. But, as usual they are nowhere to be seen.

As a default, by refusing to publicly condemn such acts, the Indian people are complicit in such acts. They are equally to blame. Pitiful.

Apart from Sem2Sem gang which act the hinduised-Muslim RSS local branch, there is another angle to this incident.

The perpetrators are allegedly low-caste Hindus. Recently, California Public University System introduced an anti-disclination clause in support of Dalits. The context of the incident is just too coincidental with the California thing. There was/is a huge ongoing debate regarding it.

The poor sikh woman just happens to be the victim. It seems to be an attempt at molding the Sikh public opinion and anger towards Dalits. Especially, after the farmer protest, and the recent desecration of Akali Takht temple .

What do you expect us to do?

At least condemn it nationally or send the crusaders down to liberate the women , we Muslims, we will help you.

In any discussion of misogyny and anti women pogroms in Western world, India never comes up, even though it puts to shame whatever putative misogyny that might be prevalent in Muslim countries.

This has caused massive outrage in the Sikh community. They cut her hair to insult her faith.
Major calls for retaliation as well on these people.

Nine women involved as well…..So much for sisterhood.
I hope they find there vile savages.
From what it looks like and I may be wrong then lady who was attacking is from a very poor family, hence this mob doing as they please.
Encouraged one of the boys to rape infront of them.
