Rawalpindi, November 12: Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmad, Corps Commander Mangla witnessed annual winter collective training exercises being held near Kharian, today.
On arrival in the exercise area, the Corps Commander was briefed by General Officer Commanding, Major General Tahir Habib Siddiqi on the exercise setting and conduct modalities. The Corps Commander met troops engaged in the exercise and commended their commitment and dedication. He highlighted the importance of combat readiness and dilated on prowess in night operations for achievement of the assigned mission. Later, he witnessed self propelled artillery units engaged in battle drills and expressed his satisfaction on their operational readiness.
Annual winter collective training is culmination of the year – long training and is aimed at putting to test the standard of training achieved.
