Lal Masjid standoff begins

What’s the meaning of “ operation RADD UL FISAD “ and it’s still operating or shut down, akhi @Zibago :coffee:

Yes a better way is to make him your Amir ul Momineen. Why not? Lets turn Pakistan into a medieval hell hole where people would be beheaded for being non Muslim, Shias would be killed, Ahmadis and Hindus would be given a choice to die or convert. Christains would be forced to pay Jizya or convert. And then the Amir ul Momineen can press the nuke button to lanuch a missile at Israel and after that it would be lights out for Pakistan as Israel and US would decimate us. You can then meet your Amir ul Mominnen in Jannah with your 72 hooris. :pakistan::pakistan::pakistan:
Baat kaa batangarr bana diya aap naay.

Pakistan isn't supposed to be a Police Communist State where the state can silence Voices by shooting people dead. This is hallmark of oppression.

Arrest this Maulana and take him to another place or to the court.

If shooting people dead is the solution then the state can shoot anybody dead for any opinion. Where does this madness stop then? Where do you draw the line then?

Closet communists of this forum need a serious reality check.

I would rather worry about a closet communist coming to power in Pakistan. The country will face its true test then and it won't be pretty.

People are getting worried over nothing. Let's wait until they run out of food either they will die of hunger or come out. Block all entry and exit points nab any one who comes out. Considering the History of Molana Burka he will rather be someone's bitch than die of hunger.
We were saying same thing about TTP terrorist, Bharti terrorists and even mutki terrorists. Never put the head under the sand.

When they kill them and raze them.
Would you support them.
When musharaf did to them what was right, what do people Like you do? Make musharaf a villan and these molvis hero's. No government would do that unless you give unequivocal support in this matter.

I supported Mushy on LAL Masjid Operation back in 2007, and I will support another Operation if they will put an end to this Mullah and his circus bandar once and for all .

pakistan is islam but islam is not pakistan. islam is way above everything else. there is a lot of difference between the two. do you know any saying of the Prophet in which he said that he is redy to die for madina or makkah? i havent read any in both bukhari and muslim. there wont be any flag of pakistan in paradise but all the momins will be there.

Pakistan is the future of Islam, brother. It is an ideology which will spread all over the Muslim world. One borne of Non-sectarianism, rejection of racial/ethnic supremacy, total acceptance of the Islamic lifestyle, and unabashed, unflinching pride in our Islamic history and identity.

Pakistan is the successor state of Dilli Sultanat, Ghaznavi, Ghori, Mughals, and Durrani Empire. It is the continuation of this civilization based on Ghazis (sacred warriors/conquerors/sufis) and Daulat (sacred state/trust) which will continue onwards until Qiyamat in sha Allah.

This nation whose heart and soul breathes for Islam, this masses are willing to suffer any sacrifice for it, and whose destiny is of greatness.

Pakistan is coming back on its proper course, in the way Quaid e Azam said, "Pakistan is the solution to all the ills of the Muslim world." May we live to see it.

Think about that.

ISLAMABAD: Like during the previous two governments, deposed khateeb of Lal Masjid Maulana Abdul Aziz is testing the nerves of the government by occupying the state-owned mosque and reiterating his claim to be its prayer leader.

Taking advantage of the situation when the authorities seemed to be busy with other issues, and the slackness of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration to notify either a prayer leader or a deputy, Maulana Aziz re-entered the mosque two weeks ago.

Currently, the capital administration has laid a siege to the area outside the mosque and Maulana Aziz along with female students is holed up inside.

None of the sides seem to back off from their position and the standoff continues.

Possibly to test the reaction of the authorities, the cleric delivered a Friday sermon last week but it was ignored despite repeated warnings by one of his former comrades Hafiz Ehtesham Ahmed, who claims to be the spokesperson of Lal Masjid’s Shuhada Foundation.

“The matter was brought to the notice of police that Haroon Rasheed, who had been picked up by security personnel earlier, was also illegally occupying the official residence of naib khateeb in Lal Masjid,” said Hafiz Ehtesham.

However, the matter turned serious when around 100 female students of Jamia Hafsa, G-7, broke into the sealed building of the seminary at H-11 (Jamia Hafsa) on Thursday night. As a result, officers from the capital administration approached Lal Masjid to meet Maulana Aziz. But talks remained inconclusive as the cleric insisted that a senior authority equivalent to a federal minister should negotiate with him.

“They are all bent upon committing the same mistake again. They are not honouring the verdict of the Supreme Court and reluctant to enforce the supremacy of Sharia in the country,” Maulana Aziz told Dawn via his mobile phone from inside the mosque.

He added: “They have given us a deadline to vacate Jamia Hafsa in H-11 with the threat to launch an operation again. Food supply too has been stopped but we are determined to remain steadfast for the sake of Islam.”

As the area has been closed since Thursday night after the authorities warned the cleric to vacate Lal Masjid, citizens were allowed to enter the mosque to offer Friday prayers under strict conditions.

All the participants had to deposit their CNICs at the police barricade and return after the Friday prayers.

On the other hand, Maulana Aziz maintained his track record by delivering a fiery sermon on Friday, stopping just short of declaring the state authorities not being the true followers of Islam and even working against the interest of the country.

The mosque remains closed to all outsiders, including for evening and other prayers, but food items were allowed in only if the delivery was taken by any person coming from the mosque.

Meanwhile, a senior police officer said: “Food was delivered twice on Friday. Women could be seen on the rooftops and even they can come out and get the food but we do now allow anybody inside as they can carry weapons too.”

An official of the capital administration acknowledged that there was no khateeb or naib khateeb at Lal Masjid after Amir Siddique was transferred two months ago.

“The problem is that Maulana and his group threaten the cleric notified by the Auqaf Department,” the officer said.

He added that the demands of Maulana Aziz cannot be implemented as he wants to become the khateeb of the mosque again. He also wants Rs250 million along with a large piece of land to establish Jamia Hafsa and the possession of the adjacent old children’s library plot, he added.

“First of all, we are hopeful that he will leave the place in two or three days,” the official said, adding the authorities could use the status of Jamia Hafsa in G-7 as a bargaining chip if the maulana remained adamant on his move.

Almost all the land of Jamia Hafsa where maulana resides has been built on encroached land after covering a natural water course.

Molvi ki dukan band ho gayi hy this time its not that big the police can easily bring him down

These are bought and sold agents of our enemies. They want to create fitnah right before Pakistan is set to rise, they want to tarnish CPEC, and promote a narrative of Pakistan being unsafe for investment.

These kinds of traitors come in all ethnicities, religious, political persuasions.

There is only one morality, which is the strengthening of our state, bringing justice, and erasing injustice.

Look around the world at Muslims, everywhere there is chaos and suffering, the populations are hopeless and punishing themselves for falling into these traps.

Nothing will help Islam more today in Pakistan than supporting, strengthening our government and military.

We are a frontier state of Islam on the borders of Kufr, our destiny is to expand and emerge victorious, for that we need unity and confidence.

Any proper student of Islam will see this, any proper scholar will relate this to his students.

You would but does your society do too?
Your single choice didn't matter at all.
Collective choice of the society matter everything.

In 2009 Imran Khan demanded a commission and inquiry against army and SSG for storming lal Masjid.
Now since he's PM... when is he going to launch that inquiry?

Moreover this mosque cum madhouse was demolished by Musharraf but Imran Khan demanded it's illegal re-construction on encroached land. Which Asif Ali Zardari an ally of Imran Khan honored!

with due respect i disagree. pakistanis today follow the footsteps of bani israel with all sorts of ills in our society. everything is impure in this land of "pure". even religion in pakistan is impure and is used by many for their own worldly gains.
it doesnt matter we are successors of sultanat abc or xyz. Allah doesnt see anyone's fore fathers. He just sees what one has done and what was his intention and "khalos". what you are talking are just emotional statements with no facts from Quran and hadiths.

Personal failings aside, even the Arabs had pride in their Pre-Islamic past, the Abyssinians maintained their culture, and converts to Islam did not abandon who they were after conversion.

Hazrat Abu Bakr RA was not only the first Khalifah, but he also was the Prophet's saws Arab genealogist and sociologist.

Why constrict the whole of human experience to just Quran and Sunnah, when the early Muslims did not do this? They have their place in deen and day-to-day affairs, but are not the only thing which matters.

Ancestry and homeland are important concepts for any civilization, they build the ground and pride which will cultivate the next generation. We should admire and follow the good attributes of our predecessors.

To create a holistic society which is united on all fronts and runs like a well-oiled machine, we need to reclaim our historical outlook from our previous empires and be unapologetically Pakistani.

If you have ever listened to Dr. Israr Ahmad, you will realize what I mean. Islam is the heart of what it means to be Pakistan. It is time we embrace our whole self and stop fragmenting pieces of our identity into compartments.

Our philosopher, one great Sufi thinker and man well educated in both Western/Eastern way of thinking, and our founder, a man in uncompromising principles, unbridled courage, and honest to a fault, were emissaries of Allah swt, sent to lead us out from the abyss.

Maulana Aziz agrees to leave Lal Masjid after authorities promise 20 kanals of land for Jamia Hafsa

Deposed khateeb of Lal Masjid Maulana Abdul Aziz agreed on Sunday to end his occupation of the mosque after three-day long negotiations with the Islamabad administration, who said that 20 kanals of land will be allotted to establish Jamia Hafsa.

The maulana is expected to leave by Tuesday. The female students, who had entered the Jamia Hafsa in Islamabad’s Sector H-11 on Thursday, have started to leave. The police force surrounding the seminary in H-11 has been withdrawn.

During the negotiations, the maulana claimed that his "movement" against former president Pervez Musharraf had started because mosques in the capital were being demolished and insisted that such incidents had resumed. The authorities assured him that his complaints will be taken to competent authorities and that his demand for a settlement in light of the Supreme Court's decision will be considered.

Earlier, an official of the capital administration had said that the demands of Maulana Aziz cannot be implemented as he wants to become the khateeb of the mosque again. He also wants Rs250 million along with a large piece of land to establish Jamia Hafsa and the possession of the adjacent old children’s library plot, he added.

when your mind gets rid of the shackles of pride, ego, country, race, culture, language , tribe, caste, history and excepts everything in Quran and Sunnah as the ultimate source of guidance in every walk of life you will become a momin.
the arabs did abandon many things after conversion to islam which were very much part of their culture. they even abandoned bowing to bait ul maqdas as per the instructions of Allah almighty. what else you want from them to abandon. a person's pride and ego may be good till certain level but sometimes his pride in his culture, history, heritage, tribe, race, his intellect becomes the greatest weapon of the satan against him. the greatest example being of abu jahil who was known as abu ul hikma before islam. a person known for his knowledge and logic but then the same pride and ego drowned him into darkness.
i have listened to dr israr alot. listened to his tafseer of Quran many times and went though his so many lectures . he himself said narrates his own incident that once national anthem of pakistan was played and he didnt stand up. he speaks so much against nationalism. he used to say that it was a blessing from Allah that the muslims got their independance in the name of islam but then the muslims didnt keep their promise and that's why we are at rock bottom today in almost every field.
the principles of Allah never change. He himself says this in Quran. obey Him and you will get glory. disobey him and then face the music.
we used to hear this "nonsense" so much time in our schools that watan ki muhabbat iman ka hissa hay that this nonsense has gone into our minds. after reading about iman in both quran and hadith i found out that this stupid statement is no where in Quran and hadith. it is just a satanic poison which apparently is very sweat.
pakistan or pakistanis need islam for their glory and islam doesnt need pakistan or pakistanis. if we dont mend our ways Allah almighty may replace us with better people.
