JF-17 vs SU-30MKI turn rate comparison.

I'm assuming the jf-17 was probably developed with su-30s in mind, thanks to China's privileged insight into the airframe, with the mkk and j-11s. None the less, as much as we all wish the thunder would solve all our troubles, I think comparing it to one of the most maneuverable fighters on the planet is a little premature, if not completely irresponsible.

ps. never realized the mki was that huge!! those things could be used as shelter for the homeless when they aren't flying! (no offense intended)

Regarding the turn rate comparison of JF-17 & MKI, please do not forget that MKI has got Thrust Vectoring Nozzles by using vectored thrust it can outmaneuver other Jets without much efforts.

Thrust vectoring, also thrust vector control or TVC, is the ability of an aircraft, rocket or other vehicle to manipulate the direction of the thrust from its engine(s) or motor in order to control the attitude or angular velocity of the vehicle.

Here is some details about TVC of F-22

Jets with TVCs have a clear advantage in the WVR fight, like HERBST MANEUVER

Any ways one thing that should be accepted that JF-17 is more agile then SU30 coz of its small size.

Thurst vectoring give the advant to MKI on few manvers.

Bottom line is that:- Its not wise to compare Cheetha(JF) with Tiger(MKI).

Both are of different characteristics!!!!

Dont forget the size and weight of MKI.
I think MKI have few more manevers on JF.

But JF is more agile then MKI coz of its size and weight. its very simple n proven logic. Besides that its shape also plays vital role in sharp turns shown in China Fly Passes few weeks ago.

Its very simple Tiger is more furious then Cheetha ....but Cheetha is more fast n agile.

Similarly JF is more agile then MKI (even with TVC) coz of its size, shape and weight.

Second there is no air force in the world including India allow civilians to be so close to an Air craft.

They might be their low class workers families. But that is ofcourse risky.
