Is there any minister of foreign affairs in Pakistan ?

I raised this question, because whenever and where ever Pakistan has national security issue, Gen Raheel appears . For example recent carnage in Peshawar school, we have seen Raheel Sharif went Afghanistan to discuss the Pakistan internal and external security issues. But that was the job of minister of foreign affairs. During Pak-US strategic dialogue, again Gen Raheel played key role and list goes on and on....
Are these political parties are full of incompetent people. Or the people in national assembly are all illiterates and has no capacity to play any leading role for Pakistan
Then don't blame the army, because its civilian govt, who is hiding behind the curtain.

You are right, it was evident when COAS Raheel Sharif took the responsibility and started handling most of the foreign relations. It's even possible that this was the rumored 'deal' between NS and the Army - ''Let us handle the foreign affairs and we'll let your incompetent arse stay on the PM seat''.

Yes, there is one.....but he is inside Harry Potter's cloak - so no one can find him......he is demented - so he cannot remember anything........he has never been in the post of foreign minister before and has no experience of foreign policy and affairs - so he does ot know what to do.

He reports to PM at all times. Technically he is the foreign affairs minister, but Nawaz wishes to hold the title with himself so he has the final say.

He could've gone to Kabul himself, but I believe he didn't after the statement "we don't need to fight taliban who are not fighting versus Pakistan." Hence Sharif went.

One reason Nawaz likes to hold key positions is so he has full control. If Sartaj was full minister, he can be manipulated by Army or those who want him to do what they please. It's easier to make a minister do something than to ask the PM. Hence Nawaz also held defense ministry, which now Khawaja Asif holds. As the minister is less powerful, Asif has to bow under pressure of army from time to time. Which is, whatever army wishes, they present that in paper to him and he basically signs it off.

lol. u dont have to justify every bad thing of sharif family . CM punjab hold 17 ministries that is also bcoz army will minuplute health ministry of punjab as well . The fact is simple, everyone knows it. They are control freaks and they dont want to give important ministers to anyone out of family and friends. It is easier to do corruption and put ur own people in every department
