Is The U.S. Navy In Danger Of Falling Behind China’s PLAN?

With those around a dozen of Super Carriers PLAN won't be able to get close.

The build rate in recent decade shows why US is scared, and rightly so. Just look at 055, and they are building them like crazy. Whereas US simply can't make zumwalt class work even after years of delay and overspending. By 2030, it will really be a no contest anymore, US simply unable to keep up with Chinese ship building and the technology gap will be removed or narrowed by then. I don't think Chinese ever planed to build many carriers unlike the US, probably 4-6 from what I read. I will be interested to see how China upgrade their 052D, the present workhorse.

Hopefully the US would build more ships to match China's ship building momentum, financially bleed to death and then bring ultimate peace to the world.

China is doing it for us.
What tangible actions has China undertaken to directly threaten the US?

How many wars has China started in the last couple of decades?

How many countries has China carried out a military invasion of in the last couple of decades?

How many countries has China levied trade & economic embargoes on to damage their governments and force them into compliance?

Change China to the US in the above questions and it should be obvious which country has an establishment and foreign policies that have been and are a threat to global peace.

Un petite question, if I may: How many expansive territorial claims does China have and how should these be resolved, in your view?

The same way the Chinese have been resolving them so far ... don't see any wars or invasions or threats to world peace, unlike the US.

Really? How is this Chinese resolution process working out for Taiwan (for example)? There are many other similar situations where the other country does not have any choice except just give it all up. Is that a realistic way forward, in your view?

Who said there had to be a timeline? Have the Chinese invaded Taiwan?

Take and look at the questions I posed earlier:

What tangible actions has China undertaken to directly threaten the US?

How many wars has China started in the last couple of decades?

How many countries has China carried out a military invasion of in the last couple of decades?

How many countries has China levied trade & economic embargoes on to damage their governments and force them into compliance?

And now the same for the US:

What tangible actions has the US undertaken to directly threaten China?

How many wars has the US started in the last couple of decades?

How many countries has the US carried out a military invasion of in the last couple of decades?

How many countries has the US levied trade & economic embargoes on to damage their governments and force them into compliance?

It is not China that is a threat to global peace and harmony - the rise of China offers the world a chance to balance the scales, and not let an arrogant & drunk on power US Establishment run riot destabilizing the world to pursue its geo-political fantasies.

To be fair, both countries are equally entitled to pursue their own respective national interests, right? Each will do so as best as they can with the resources at their disposal. No declarative judgements are needed in international geopolitics.

Pursuit of national interests through war, military invasions, embargoes and sanctions have had a devastating impact on millions of people.

Declarative judgements are necessary when the consequences of pursuing national interests, by the US for example, are so devastating for so many.

Except that international geopolitics has never, and will never, work that way, and ALL nations abide by the same rules, equally.

a single USN Carrier Group has more firepower not to mention the knowledge and experience than entire Chinese Navy

if China deployed 3 carriers against a single USN carrier strike group all 3 Chinese carriers would be sunk

USN has 100 years of experience and knowledge behind it with over 80 carriers constructed

China builds 1 carrier and fanboys are dreaming again
I tend to agree here, the Chinese navy still has ways to go to be an operational threat. I think it will take them another 25-35 years to get the 6 carrier battle groups up and running .

I do however do not agree with your assessment that 1 us carrier will sink the entire Chinese fleet. They are comparable and are learning from experiences. You see the entire world is attempting freedom of navigation drills with the Chinese addressing this, this does give them experience. They are also focused on exercises with other large navy’s such as Russia.

How are China and the US abiding by the 'same rules, equally'?

Both nations are using every and all means at their disposal to pursue their own respective national interests, just like all others. One could extend all your questions to all countries and not just selectively over the last half century and see what the answers come out to be, if we really look at history.
