Today Iran's defense minister gen Hatami and chief commander of army gen. Mousavi signed a strategic deal for enhancing the drone power and the equipment installed on them within the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran. based on this deal, in the first phase, 1000 new drones will be delivered to army in a short period of time.

If only Egypt can get the tech of the Iranian drones .. that's what's missing now.
We will gladly make military deals with Egypt after the Egyptian government takes an independent stance with regard to the US bullying and dictates and restores her ties with Iran. But I don't see how we can make deals with Egypt when the two countries don't have diplomatic ties to begin with.
Morsi welcomed the idea of restoring our ties, but it didn't happen during his time.

are those miniature drones (suicide, reconnaissance) or that new attack drone showed earlier?

Even tho Sisi is a loser but he doesn't mind restoring the relationship .. his relation with gulf countries let's say love and hate , he loves their money but he hates their policy so he can't take actions against their leaders.
Iran is good in its military industry espcially missiles and drones and they can benefit Egypt in this case.
while Egypt can benefit them in their experience in other fields.

In due time. Things are stabilizing from the height of tensions and issues in the region. Iranians and Saudi’s are talking and hashing out the details about clashing interests, especially Yemen which will be solved in the due time. The shadow of conflict between neighbours is declining a lot in my opinion that being said, the prospect of Iran-Israel still looms, they might be looking for revenge on Iran for what’s happening right now, and some other nations seek to cooperate with Shin Bet and Mossad which would derail things. Also the Americans might not be too happy about any cooperation on anything in any form to be honest. It’ll likely remain neutral for the foreseeable future

Iranian Army Received over 200 Strategic Drones

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Army on Thursday took delivery of more than 200 strategic drones manufactured by the Defense Ministry.

In an event attended by Army Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, the unmanned aerial vehicles, designed and manufactured by the Defense Ministry in cooperation with the Army, were delivered to various units of the Army in several parts of the country.

The strategic drones include various models such as Ababil-4, Ababil-5, Arash, Karrar jet, Shahrivar-10th, Akhgar, switchblade, Homa and sea-based and VTOL drones for veriaty of missions, including reconnaissance, detonation, combat/reconnaissance, loitering, anti-radar, aerial interception against mobile and fixed targets.

The propulsion, guidance, navigation and control systems of the new drones are modified and are equipped with air-to-air and air-to-surface missiles, torpedo, smart & standoff bombs, and electronic warfare systems and have low RCS to allow successful covert operations in long distances.

In July 2022, the commander of Iran’s Army Ground Force unveiled plans for the establishment of five new military units operating with unmanned aerial vehicles.

Pointing to the sophisticated UAVs that the Army’s “Drone Base 313” has taken possession of, including cruise drones and the Heidar drones, Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari said the Ground Force has submitted a proposal for the establishment of five drone units.

Egypt's real problem lies in the nature of the military ruling regime and the army's control over the economy and the state, while all the countries of the world that are developed economically, ideologically, and in planning succeed through the private sector and the control of the most qualified people and the civil sector. All companies that failed civilly in Egypt were controlled by the military. Through the control of the military over the management of airlines, EgyptAir weakened due to the military assuming leadership positions in it. Plans to manage the economy have been backward military thinking for decades. The mentality of self-sufficiency of the military regimes has disappeared. Egypt in the past was an agricultural country and the first in the world in a number of agricultural products. Now Egypt imports grains and products. Agricultural and food with 20 billion dollars, a country ruled by military men, none of whom can be tried for corruption
Regarding drones, the military in Egypt prevented any development or production of unmanned aircraft by the Egyptians and placed restrictions on their use from the civilian side and fighting any real innovation in this field. They do not have the slightest real competence in management regarding international political management. Such as the pharmaceutical raw materials industry and the automobile industry, Iran encouraged local designs and the private sector, which in Egypt considers the economy to be monopolized by gangs organized under governmental names, and the state’s interest in companies that caused their failure, such as Military Production and the Arab Organization for Industrialization, have become dwarfs in the industry and they do not have a real ability to produce advanced global competitive products, so the matter is not cooperation With Iran or Turkey, but rather restricting the civil and private sector, which is fighting for the control of entities in the Egyptian state, which has failed because of the administration over decades. Egypt's real strength is
In the development of education and scientific research and the exploitation of the strength of the population of a country of 110 million people can be exploited in the development of the Egyptian state Egypt 90% is not exploited economically, that is, it is still a country that has not exploited any of its real capabilities yet. One of the reasons for the weakness of the Egyptian economy is the Egyptians’ refusal to cooperate economically with the regime The ruler, everyone flees from Egypt. The Egyptians have set up factories in China worth 25 billion dollars and set up investments in the Emirates that exceed 30 billion dollars, all to escape the regime and its economic failure and its control and restriction of monetary policy. For example, Egypt suffers from a shortage of foreign currency and a very simple right. One billion dollars, and the Egyptians, most of them, took out money from the banks when the government put restrictions on cash circulation in terms of items and made it in limited numbers daily. The result was that the people fled money from the banks. The Egyptian government will, in a short period of time, obtain at least $10 billion in immediate deposits in the banking system, meaning that the problem is in limited efficiency control. Government and military thought are mentally, administratively and intellectually handicapped, which has led to economic crises that will not end except with the return of civilian control over the national economy and the removal of military control over the economy. Their failure has been continuous since 1952. Egypt is weak in its management, which has made countries such as Iran, Turkey and Israel better in technological and economic development than Egypt. The solution is known, and it is the sheep of failure in managing the economy, otherwise Egypt's situation will remain as it is

I have a question Mr Sami...Why Egypt prefers to buy most of her military hardware from foreign sources while she has all the technical tools and technical people to do it in-house (you guys had the first domestic developed fighter jet in the 1950s). Is there an immediate threat to the country that forces Egypt to arm herself from foreign sources and has no time to wait for internal developments...I understand there are problems with Ethiopia but they are not in the same league as Egypt to be a threat..Israel is an enemy but is not about to attack Egypt any time soon so what is the rush to buy from outside... why not take time and use the $$$ on domestic defence industry. Generals will be happy to own these factories . In Iran most of military Industries are owned by the military so some involvement of military in economics is not that bad..they have lots of resources that can be used in economical activities during peace time..Huge mega projects that are beyond capability of private sector can be done by military resources.

To establish industry in general and military industry in particular

This depends on the competencies of the private and civil sectors, the ability to develop and innovate, and the incentive for that, and they are what they are fighting against
The military cannot be held accountable or prosecuted for any corruption

Besides the military, they do not have the real will and desire for defense manufacturing in a real way. To illustrate a simple example, Egypt imports 15 types of main combat rifles. Can you not develop a combat rifle or even produce an appropriate quantity? Of course you can, but there is no will and there is no leadership aimed at real development and development. Besides, they use arms imports. As a kind of linking their presence in power to what the European suppliers benefit from Egyptian arms purchases or Russian and Chinese political support for them, to illustrate a simple example, Egypt in the 2007-2012 five-year plan was developing shipyards, aircraft and missile factories, and funding was provided to develop the factories and purchase new production licenses, then in a form Bad and horrible corruption. The money allocated to the factories for financing, claiming that they are special funds that must return to the state to be spent on projects that are not vital. The result was that the weapons were completely imported from abroad, and whenever anyone objects, they say there is no money for that.

When the industrial sectors are led by former military men who have no experience other than military leadership positions, it is natural for this system to fail
Any incompetence for them is normal

factors for that
Lack of management
The army's control over the wealth of the state and the economy completely without any control is natural for the future of Egypt to be like Sudan now
The lack of a real direction for development. Whoever wants to develop a country depends on spending in education, scientific research, industry and agriculture, and this was deliberately neglected in the period between 2014-2020
And when the Egyptian economy has become in a bad situation and the world is heading for a famine in 2025, there is now a medicine to pay attention to agriculture and partly to industry to reduce part of the Egyptian imports.
As long as you do not intend to have a share of the global markets for products and exports, and to compete with the global markets, it will remain a miserable country, and we are completely convinced that the military did not succeed in developing any country, but rather destroying it.
