Former army chief General (retd) Raheel Sharif said 2016 witnessed a significant decrease in terrorism and that "intelligence sharing is a very important component of strategy to combat terrorism."

Addressing a session at the World Economic Forum (WEF) titled 'Terrorism in the digital age', he said: "Terrorism is a global issue and the global community will have to get united if it wants to defeat terrorism."

Talking in reference to the achievements of Pakistan Army in fighting terrorism, he said the military cleared 8,000 square kilometres area after recapturing it from militant control. He apprised the gathering that tens of thousands of affected people were rehabilitated in the area.

Raheel Sharif went on to say that terrorism has become a "gangrene for the world". He added that terrorists attack in a well planned manner and intelligence sharing is a very important component of strategy to combat terrorism.

Pakistan bears tragedies such as the Army Public School (APS) because of terrorism, he added. "However, we can not take such negative measures against terrorists like they do."

Because, usually India keeps on blaming Pakistan for many terrorist attacks in Kashmir and such but rarely provide actionable intelligence that their claim is based on, however Pakistan has paraded Khulbushan Yadav and provided dosiers to many countries and agencies as proof of Indian state sponsored terrorism in Pakistan. Point is, he understands how if intelligence agencies are not made to share the info they have, then these agencies have a tendency to feel that they are above accountability and these agencies (RAW for example) can start throwing allegations to further their own agendas and objectives and start influencing the political process, which mostly has negative effects.

Why no such dossier is presented to Indian government and why did Aziz sir said that Pakistan has no proof against Kulbhusan of spreading terrorist activity.

India has provided lot of dossier on 26/11 and pathankot but till now, as promised by GoP, nothing has been done.

The 26/11 dossier - available as a public record in Kasab's trial - so extensive that even NGOs like Amnesty International refrained from saying much - though otherwise they mince no words in such cases.

Dad and family in Pakistan - (uncovered by Dawn so please don't yell fake news) [http://www.dawn.com/news/765854], Dozens of phone calls and intercepts with handlers in Pakistan (corroborated by the US), ration packs and ammo stamped with Pak Army ID, David Headley's confession (http://www.dawn.com/news/1238200) - and, of course, Kasab's own confession. It's hard to imagine what other evidence can be obtained.

Has Pakistan published anything similar about alleged Indian involvement in any act of terrorism? In fact every single act of terrorism in Pakistan has been owned by some militant group based out of Pakistan itself.
