INS Kursura heading towards the coast of Vizag.

<div class='bbimg'></div>

INS Kurura had to be hauled from the sea. The process was slow and painstaking. Slowly day by day the entire submarine was hauled onto land and the musuem was created.

<div class='bbimg'></div>

Naval Officers supervised the hauling and creation of the submarine musuem. The musuem is one of the very few in the world today and the first in Asia.

<div class='bbimg'></div>

The Control Room was the heart of the submarine. This is the room from where the captain controls the entire submarine below waters.

<div class='bbimg'></div>

The Torpedo Room is where the torpedos are loaded to be fired. Once the command is given from the control room the torpedoes are fired on the enemy vessel.

<div class='bbimg'></div>

The Officers Wardroom onboard Kursura where officers took thier meals. Space is premium in a submarine with equipment&#39;s, ammunitions, life saving systems etc taking priority.

<div class='bbimg'></div>

The Ships Galley was where two cooks prepare all meals for the crew in one galley (kitchen) of size 4&#39;X6&#39;.
