Principles of control and guidance system:
The missile uses a single-channel control system: to create a governing force in any direction with a single pair of handlebars given by the forced rotation of the missile with a frequency of 15 Hz ± 5 with respect to the longitudinal axis. After filtering the signal from the phase detector signal to the missile speed proportional to the angular line of sight velocity is applied to the servos, which control the missile.
The control signal coming from the GOS servos also comprises:
- in bearing control signal at the initial flight phase;
- tracking signal in the near field and an offset;
- the signal from the sensor angular velocity of the rocket.

Igla S has perforced amazingly well in Syrian Civil War. It will be quite usefull for IA to co7nter low flying enemy drones & helicopters.
