What's new

Indigenous Engine for Aircraft & others.

Pakistan will and cannot build an aircraft engine in next 25 years. I bet your government won't even initiate a project with the funding. Mark this post and read it after 25 years, Pakistan will be exactly where it is today.
your are too optimistic about being 25 years:agree:

Please read second line of Heading carefully " A Blend of Public - Private Enterprise"
Public means = DRDO
Private Enterprise means =Foreign Countries companies.
pl. accept realities.

No...

L&T, GOBERJ, DATA PATTERN, ANANTH Technologies, etc are Indian private companies..... fail.

ECIL is a government company, does R&D by themselves

Data patterns & Astra have developed Seekers, transmitters,SARs for themselves

You're getting agitated coz your dumb claim got shot down...??

we can achive this target sooner then Indian as we achieved JF17 then LAC teja and It is necessary because then jf17 will export to other countries then India and other western countries will imposed sanctions against third party RD-93 engine, Radar, avionics systems & other parts.

Now on topic
India had experience of 50 years in Gas Turbines-We made our first experimental GT in 1959,a 11 kN turbojet in 1965,and a technology demonstrator turbojet & turbofan in late 1970s.Now lets forget about putting your 'fictional' turbofan in a production variant of JF 17 & 'achieving target', do you have any experience in this field before commencing such a project?

Gas turbines, Turbofan, turbojet this are functional things in world what is new invent by HAL, prototypes under experiments, the LAC, AMCA if it is going to be inducted in only 2025, JF17 has been entered in 2nd phase Block-II.

The bolded part,is too stupid to be answered.:woot:

For the rest,LCA is an Indian indigenous project, while JF 17 is a Joint Venture with China. Indigenous content-avionics,mechanical systems, radar etc are tad less, insignificant when compared to LCA.LCA has already been granted operational clearance & Mark 2 development is on.Before LCA have had two indigenous fighter designs-an indigenous one & another modified design based on a foreign one.

than what is the need of Dassault Rafale from france ?

JF17 has been entered in 2nd phase Block-II.
Tejas is an indigenous fighter and JF-17 is joint project.
We are also working with Russia jointly for fifth generation project.
So do you want to compare JF17 and PAKFA lolz.

LCA Tejas: An Indian Fighter – With Foreign Help

We have the program’s new cost figures, which are rising. A less parochial awareness is also rising, it seems…

Feb 12/14: Costs.India’s MoD releases another set of official cost figures for the program, leaving out the Kaveri engine but adding a “Phase-III” development period. LCA development costs have now risen from an original INR 71.16 billion to INR 140.33 billion (+97.2%), or INR 168.72 billion (+137.1%) if one properly counts the Kaveri engine. Expected production line investments would push those figures even higher. India’s MoD was savvy enough to compare development costs to Saab’s more advanced Gripen NG:

“Developmental cost of Light Combat Aircraft (LCA), Tejas is Rs.7965.56 Crore ($1.09 Billion) including building of 15 aircraft and creation of infrastructure for production of 08 aircraft per annum. This compares with the developmental cost of JAS 39 NG Grippen is $1.80 Billion for developing 5 Proto Vehicles.”

That’s actually just the current predicted cost of the IAF’s MK.I/II development, minus the Kaveri engine, and arguably without creating infrastructure that could actually deliver 8 aircraft per year. The Gripen NG figure would need to be checked carefully, to see what it included and excluded. Even so, the simple act of making the comparison shows a greater sense of external awareness than we’re used to seeing from India’s MoD. Source: India MoD/ PIB, “Developmental Cost of LCA Project”.
