    IAF ignored this fighter , But Will IAF reconsider it?? Will the Govt give Nod to this aircraft??

    This Aircraft was proposed by HAL in 2005 , Its called AJT-39/Combat AirTrainer.

    There was a proposal of Advanced Jet trainers by HAL during the controversy surrounding Hawks.

    Appears to be a cancelled project like the HTT-40.

    So what exactly happened to this Fighter aircraft?? is it still alive? has the IAF given a Nod?

    was it supposed to replace the Kiran or the BAE Hawk?

    BAE Hawk's ... IAF had not shown interest in this project, But in 2010 IAF has asked HAL to re-submit CAT Proposal for the study.... After that no news on it...

    I am sure, if its approved, its going to be one of the finest main stream Trainer aircraft India would have ever had... It would even have OBOGS and FBW
