Indian Coast Guard ship arrives in central Vietnam | Politics | Thanh Nien Daily
Indian Coast Guard ship Samudra Paheredar on Tuesday docked in the central city of Da Nang for a three-day friendship visit.
The ship has 122 crew members.
After arrival, the ship’s representatives paid courtesy visits to the Da Nang People’s Committee, the Vietnam Coast Guard’s Command and the 2nd Regional Coast Guard’s Command.
Representatives of the municipal government and the 2nd Regional Coast Guard’s Command were invited to visit the ship.
The ship’s crew will take part in a friendship volleyball tournament with officers and soldiers of the 2nd Regional Coast Guard’s Command.
During the visit, Samudra Paheredar will perform the use of onboard equipment to control pollution and engage in a search and rescue exercise at sea with Vietnamese force
