India, Saudi Arabia to sign agreement on Haj 2013

JEDDAH (SAUDI ARABIA): India and Saudi Arabia have reached a bilateral agreement on Haj pilgrimage. India's minister of state for external affairs E. Ahmad said after he met Saudi Arabia's minister for Haj Dr. Bandar Bin Mohammed Bin Hamzah Asad Hajjar, "The agreement includes India's request to accommodate an additional number of 10,000 pilgrims during the next Haj." Both the countries would sign the deal soon.

Ahmad said that India requested the Saudi Arabian authorities to make Haj mono train facility available for the Indian pilgrims through the central Indian Haj committee during the Haj. More than 1, 70,000 Indian pilgrims would be performing the Haj next year.
