India eyes Pakistan for access to Afghan mine bonanza

Even if India decides to use Chabahar port, Pakistan can block Indian ships going to Chabahar in an event of a war. I guess it all depends on Pakistan, Indians. :P

its not if india decides to, its our port we will use it. first of all we will make sure the ships stay in international waters not in pakistani waters. if pakistan blocks it it will be considered an act of war. and u know what happens when we go on war.

in case of war we will not let the ships out or they will be escorted by our navy to india.

If their is a war, first your navy will think to save karachi from Indian blockade. Then rest things will come in play like Gwadar and Chabahar.

Anyways, I think such confidence building measures are must to develop good relations between India and Pakistan. Also I advocate that India should invest in IP pipeline and make it IPI.

well....in that case, of imaginary "war" PN goes Pooof before it can block anythin

the solution to this is 3d printing. we will transport all the ore online and thru wireless

India should return Kashmir to Pakistan as soon as possible
india should give independence to kashmir Valley. Jammu and ladakh will be indian. With this Pak will be finished in a decade. WHy?
Becaause with kashmir gone IWT will be scrapped. Pak can get indus and jhelum water only if kashmir agrees. Also chenab which currently goes to pak will be fully indian since it flows thru Hindu - Jammu, and that will reduce flow to pak by 17%. Plus today india is not giving the kashmir farmers their due because of IWT. If they get independence, then they will use a larger portion of indus / jhelum water. So Pak water will be reduced by 25% at least. Now punjab uses most of the water and gives a bit to sindh and baluch. now if its further reduced ,since punjabis control Pak, they will not reduce punjab water but literally stop sindh and Baluch water. Then what will happen? tellme tellme jaldi.... so after these 2 are free, they will give all the access to india in return for some water. then punjab and kashmir will start fighting and kashmiris will be desperate to come back to india, where they were treated so well and depending if its worth it or not we will decide.
Also then we will control Pak sea access thru Sindh, if they dont want they always have good friend china.. they can transoprt everythign to guangzhou thru road and ship it from there. LOL...so what Pak exports will cost 10 times as much as indian and one kilo of imported rice may cost 500 Rs out of which 490Rs will be transport charge

If Pakistan agrees it's good, but if it refuses then that will help make India's case for use of Chabahar port more stronger.. There can be alternate oil supply but there is no alternate transit route..

if we are being nice and as usual yo are nasty, we would not have a choice but to create a route and getting feedom of BAluch and Sindh.

little change in plan.
Kashmir is a short cut.

on topic: both country will benefited if plan gets through and it will ease not only India-Pakistan relation but also Pak-Afghan relation. Pak's move now.

I don't think they have any final intentions to transport it through Pakistan because the project is for decades and due to certain political problems between Pakistan Indian, India will not put this project on a big risk. Still it's a big opportunity for Pakistani transporters to earn some money and most importantly the production will start in 2014 a crucial year for all 3 countries to renew their ties after NATO exit from the region.

its a very nice move by Indian govt. it will bring a decision out of pakistan on trade ties .chabahar port is ready and working but the road links to afghanistan are not, it will take time for realization of a complete trade route.as far kashmir is concerned it was is and will remain an integral part of India WE DONT CARE ABOUT PPL CRYING US A RIVER.

no one is intending to cry a river ....rahter turn the tide and drown the receipients.. cheers..!

Seriously guys how can we waste so much band width on a non starter. Our position is that India has several consulates in Afghanistan from which it tries to encourage destabalisation of Pakistan.

Indians are living in cloud cuckoo land that we will provide these routes in the absence of resolving other issues we have with them

^^^^Bond why are you constantly trolling and bringing the level of quality down on PDF? Whats Balochistan got to do with the thread? Is your obsession so deep - please stop trolling and lets stick to your activities in Afghanistan which incidentally are at this moment a dream.

You continue your crying /ranting on 'Kashmir' & meanwhile we will seperate Baluchistan from Pakistan !!! :enjoy:

& we will get transit anyway.. don't you guys know Indian stooges like Zardari runs Pakistani government ...:D

My my, someone is a little over confident. Please first take care of the maoists before you even think about threatening a nation with an actual military.

Try it and we will create a nuclear desert in India. I think there are too many Indians on this forum anyway.

Why don't we just supply Indian consulates and then they can assist Pakistan in sending terrorists into Pakistan
