India Can Build Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carriers

In practically, yes they can. But whole world saw that Indians failing in big projects. (just like tejas)

Really???????? :woot: :woot:

India joins elite club with nuke submarine launch - Rediff.com India News

Mighty India Power: India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier to be launched in Dec

Mission Accomplished: India fifth in world to reach moon - Times Of India

Don't you take building of its own Nuclear submarine or aircraft carrier or reaching Moon as big projects? :woot:

And all of these are successful so think before you speak don't go by what pakistanis/chinese says

i doubt the navy want them now . they do not fit into its fleet plan. may be a decade and a half down the line. they need to relearn how to operate conventional carriers now .

Indian should do more and talk less. We saw enough things such as Tejas and Arjun.

India has the capacity to do it. In addition, they also receive strongly supports from both the United States and Russia, which China can't get even in their dreams...

Pathetic inferiority complex:wave:

Buddy when we can build nuclear submarines which are the most complicated naval warfare units, carriers are relatively straight forward.

But then again we should remember we are talking with Chinese members who in most case go by the CPC propaganda and are unable to engage in critical thinking.

Oh yeah? Next would be building nuclear powered space ships to visit nearby galaxies at faster-than-light speeds and go where no man has gone before!! Jeeez! Let's think of innovative ideas to empower the dispossessed first, and ensure they get at least a square meal, and a shelter above their heads.

Our priorities suck big time!!

Tejas is a success. India does not have the luxury of milking the EU and the US for tech, like Turkey. The whol world has seen how Turkey cannot even defeat the rag tag, ill equiped Kurds haha. LTTE were much more formidable opponents, yet Sri Lanka defeated them. I guess Sri Lanka would give Turkey a good bashing if the need arose. Stop living on Turkey's past glory....if that's what you want to call it.

Sure that's great but you fail to realize the neighborhood India lives in. Nuclear propulsion is a big deal, it places no limits on the Navy to conduct operations especially during a war. Placing a square meal is a problem also, but with a different agency

I think the countries defence has more pressing needs.

Subs

Artillery

More multi-role fighters

etc.

Maybe I forgot to mention not Soviet aircraft carrier Varyag, a help of Ukraine.

you guy forget indian secondhand carrier from russia^^
We have completed the reconstruction of a USSR's carrier on our own efforts ,However, indians were tricked into giving the russia lots of money but russia have still not finished the work on the carrier now,. It seems like that russia is still asking for more money from indains.lol

But we are building our own aircraft carrier from scratch (INDIGENOUS aircraft carrier-1 or INS Vikraant), which is not a desperate patchwork of a mothballed and discarded ship purchased on the pretext of floating a casino.

Nations are willing to sell us such items, and we are capable of making our own - two things you can't claim with regard to aircraft carriers.

Cute avatar, btw.
