China has done much better than any country in the world in past couple of decades. chinese are really laborious.

the younger Chinese generation are not like their parents, We couldn't say that they are laborious. haha, anyway, thanks for your praise. India also did a great job in the past 30 years, Like what The Jawaharlal Nehru saying in his "The Discovery of India"。

on topic- chinese rural areas are almost same to any other rular area from a devloping country , india ,indonesia etc. they dont have power cut problem though.

There's nothing to be ashamed about these pictures. They give a true and warm feeling to every Chinese who has some kind of experiences with them. They are great pictures! Thanks

As long as the roof is good

This village is thriving and a new hall to show for it

This a typical modern village now a day- moneys are spreading downward

Modern kitchen with: running water, electricity, fuel gas and perhaps shared septic tank.

Sigh beautiful pics,,,,,,,,,,, calm ,less hectic and stress less lives these people live ..... we have in the name of development we have lost so much i just wish life in a village returns to me and i can be away from exams,work,girlfriends,rock music........

look at the stores on the side of the street.

My point is: try to present both sides of the story.
