HQ-9 Surface to Air Missile and Pakistan Air Force

There are no restrictions as such on its sale unless Uncle Sam is breathing down your neck and you have sanctions on you (Iran).

The point @Oscar sir is making is that definite confirmation is not possible (since the money trail even for highly sensitive acquisitions like the Erieye AEW&C can be found on the net bu somehow no such info is available for the system n question anywhere), but looking at other acquisitions on either side may help to build a larger picture albeit with some gaps- afterwards a careful look at it might allow you to reach a reasonably probable solution.

Otherwise it makes sense, as he says, that the systems would be deployed to cover key facilities. Now if someone wants to start shooting MRBMs or CMs down with it then they're out of luck but its a good system.
Anti Missile systems can never be completely successful and I am more interested in Block 2 of JF-17 and J-10B not Surface to Air Missiles

Sir ji, warfare is NOT platform centric rather it is network centric, a good interceptor, air defense fighter or even a MRCA in a CAP role has its capabilities reduced if a good ADGE is not up and running. Even with the all of that, a flight of flankers might just decide to overwhelm your defenses by employing stand-off munitions and infiltrating from multiple threat axes- a good chance of success. On the other hand the ADE with an AEW&C platform with proper data sharing will mitigate the complications that one might face in such a scenario. Nothing is absolute in warfare, but capabilities and systems have to be accrued and set to work in a synergistic manner.

Commander , we do not even acknowledge its existence and presence in our country , what makes you think that we can get even a rough idea of the batteries in operation ? :D

Oscar sir already provided a very rough figure for the batteries if they have been procured. :P

Makes sense though- procurement goes from an "if" to very probable given what both sides are holding and projecting,

Well , that is your opinion . :D

Well , mate , if you have been following the ' rumors ' , the probability of such acquisition by the armed forces of Pakistan are very high . Let us just think of it as another A100 MBRL , shall we ? The system may be seen , photographed and reported from some exercise or another event , but we will never confirm or deny it .

It probably is, it would make sense- a good addition to the ADE goes a long way in securing important installations that's why I already stated that although @Oscar sir is stating that he cannot find any details of any acquisitions as per the alternative provided by him it is a below the table purchase.

Most recent pic of A-100 firing a missile in desert exercise was released last week

Wikipedia is not saying it its the people that write on Wiki that are saying it believe what you want.

Well Sir why do you think Pakistan haven't bought it yet the economy issue or they are those weapons which a country cannot sold to other like Ballistic missiles

All weapon systems cost money. The Chinese do not sell you things for free and you dont have the money.
