How to improve Thanks to Post Percentage?

Step 2: Click shutdown
Step 3: Step away from the computer
Step 4: Go outside, study or get laid

He couldn't get enough thanks and complaining- do you think he will ever get laid?- and if not- open another thread for it?-

Don't make posts like your OP. They are unlikely to get thanked, but increase your post count, thereby decreasing your thanks to posts ratio.

I am saddened to see that even after 212 posts I have received only 247 thanks or in percentage terms it is 1.165 thanks per post.
Kindly give some suggestions to improve my thanks to post percentage or that of anybody for that matter.
