How many tanks and fighter jets do Assad Have?

he's got plenty of old work horse tanks like the T-55, but are they battle worthy???? does Assad have the mechanics and parts to fix these beasts???

The question should be how many planes and tanks does Russia have?

Russia is sending him just enough equipment to extend the misery of the Syrian people but not enough to have a defintive end to the war.

The Turks aren't allowing air resupplies over their territory, most of Assad's resupply of spare parts is by sea hence why Aleppo is important.

The Russians have shipped over a couple of weapon and ammunition factories to shorten the supply chain.

As far as tanks are concerned. The Syrians are using them as mobile pillboxes and indirect artillery support. Assad's supply is running low, but the Syrian Army is resourceful, the complacency that filled the Army is replaced by battle hardened Junior Officers. It remains how many assets Assad can keep around, most guerrilla warfare based civil wars last 10 years.

Assad is in a tough pickle here, syria is in dire need of support and aid

The question should be how much arms do iran & russia have. They don't seem to have enough of syrian blood. His ground forces/terrorist barbarians are commanded by Iranians.

A turkey+KSA lead air strike could have ended his plunder and genocidal rampage but there doesn't seem to have that political will. West won't mind assad as it seems. SO its regional muslim countries like turkey & KSA that have to come up with a solution. They need to be proactive now.

it wasn't Russia or Iran that begin this civil war. it was west+gulf+Turkey which supply weapons and money to ISIS to fight with Assad and Noori Al-Maliki
