Five injured as gunmen attack bus in Pakistan
Islamabad, Jun 19 (PTI) Five persons were injured when unidentified gunmen attacked a bus in the restive Balochistan province of Pakistan today, police said.
The motorcycle-borne gunmen fired indiscriminately at the bus in the area between Sibi and Notal tonight.
The driver of the bus and four passengers sustained multiple bullet wounds, police said.
The injured were taken to a hospital in Dera Murad Jamali town.
The attackers managed to escape.
Law enforcement personnel rushed to the site and cordoned off the area to trace the gunmen.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack, which badly damaged the bus that was going from the provincial capital Quetta to Nawabshah in Sindh province.
