Dr. Mahmood won last night in the heavily democratic district. By wining the nomination as a democratic candidate he is almost certain to make it to the congress.

There are already 2 muslim members of congress. Reps Rashida Tlaib & Ilhan Umer. He will be the first Pakistani inshallah.
