You must have heard of Cinestar Lahore’s latest offering: an IMAX 3D cinema. For those of you who haven’t experienced IMAX anywhere internationally before, IMAX 3D is basically an enhanced version of the normal 3D you guys watch, with a curved screen, better audio quality and sound effects, and an immersive experience.
IMAX is the new technology for Cinemas in which widescreen cinematography is used, which produces an image approximately ten times larger than that from the standard 35 mm film. So basically the screen will be much bigger and the sound & video quality is improved.
More IMAX theaters planned for Karachi and Islamabad also.
