Fatimah jinnah address in peshawar 1962

9th of July was the death anniversary of our mother of the nation fatimah jinnah. She was the last one from the pioneers in the making of Pakistan. This address belongs to the era when it was just the beginning of the military occupation of the country in all spheres. The era of General ayub khan the first neutral ever imposed on us , one who set a tradition of military ruling in Pakistan and the one who destroyed the original constitution of Pakistan and steered Pakistan in a very different direction than that of MA Jinnah. He didn't even spare the blood sister of the father of the nation in her last final years.

Just love her voice and her pure beautiful urdu. These days very few people are left in Pakistan who can speak urdu that good.

What a lovely, elegant and intelligent woman our mother was.

How sad that forces who just saw greed got rid of her and as a consequence the nation suffered only decline after.

But I will say in my duas to Allah don't worry my lady, Pakistan's great grand children, your youth dear Fatimah Jinnah will take back Pakistan.

Thanks for sharing, wonderful voice and speech.

Urdu is being spoken.

In 1960s the newly formed country was struggling to introduce the national language as communication medium for the masses compounded by the complications of a bubbling economy directed towards urbanised industrial areas feeding insecurities of the impatient. Furthermore development projects like major dams were being subjected to communal polity. Just like now, the propagation of local language and culture felt extremely threatened by the introduction of what is/was considered foreign language and urbanization.

The reasons why mother of the nations urdu was that good because she was a mohajir who spent her time studying in Calcutta among good urdu speakers. Also the time she spent among Muslim league workers in undivided India where mostly the communication was in urdu at a lower level.

Ma pe ilzam bhi kaya lagaya.
Ghadari ka. Bharat ke sath mil ke saish kerna ka.
Karma is there.
Bangladeshi kala bhoola nanga hai they said.
Wahan rooz rooz flood ata hai wo burden hai hum pe they said.
Aj wajan hafta main 6 din barish hoti hai flood nhn ata. Aj wahan cyclone ata hai lakin flood nhn ata.
Aur wohi mujeeb ki beti jo hum se nafrat kerti hai aur jis ko is forum main hum bura bhala kehta.
Wohi Pakistan ko bheek bejh rahi hai.
Aur wohi bhutto ka nawasa bheek lai raha hai jis ne us ke baap ka rightful rule ka haq cheena

That was the stupidest thing one could have to new new country desperately need only healing. India was lucky to have father figure like nehru.
Jinnah and gandi both died. Nehru and liaqat follow. Nobody knew their ethnicities. They are founding fathers and only suitable to rule.
While a father ruled india for 17 years. Pakistan liyaqat ali khan was killed. Mohtarma jinnah who can take his place was blamed to be none other then indian agent.
Fight between bengali sindhi punjabi and phustoon started too soon before the newly formed nation can tackle with these issues
