'Family fled hidden in the back of truck': Sandeepa Dhar pens a hard-hitting note after watching 'The Kashmir Files'

It is important to note that this happened during the rule of Jagmohan - a staunch BJP supporter, who was Governor of J&K at that time, and while BJP supported the VP Singh government in power.

Subsequent BJP governments in power did nothing for the Kashmiri Pandits, except use them to generate hate against Kashmiri Muslims.

I'm curious to watch this movie now. Have been avoiding it because I thought this was another over hyped low budget production. But the movie seems to have a lot of publicity making it hard to ignore. Hope they release it on OTT soon

Let me spoil it for you - a bad remake of the Usual Suspects filled with the story that sells best in India today - the evil Muslims.

Not militants but Freedom Fighters.

India give more importance to some Bollywood high class escort whose only suffering was that she sat in back of a truck (most probably untrue in the first place) and not to the thousands of Kashmiri women who were raped by the Indian Army or the thousands of men and boys who were killed, beaten and arrested.

Shame on you and your kind!

1. A few days ago these misguided and issue-stretching "freedom fighters" randomly attacked some civilians in a market who were all I think Muslims. What are these freedom fighters doing ?

2. I don't agree with Sandeepa's misinformed views about this film but she as in your Tableeghi words "a Bollywood high class escort" is always preferable to criminals like Asiya Andrabi whose fake-pious burqa group Dukhtaraan-e-Millat threatened Kashmiri females more than a decade ago that if they didn't wear the burqa, if they even showed their face then the group would throw acid on them.

3. Did you just skip over that text of mine which expressed sadness over the atrocities on the non-Pandit Kashmiris ? Did you skip over my linked permanent solution for the entire issue ?

The shame, sir, should be yours.
