What's new

Dozens of Uzbekistan military helicopters went inside Afghanistan to hunt ISK at Balkh Province

Looks like Taliban regime would end much sooner, problem is the ones coming after them might be even worse

After defeating two super powers consecutively I doubt if a few helis will stir the Taliban.

Running a stable govt and hit and run are two different situations,
ISIS mullah are using same strategy Afgan Talib used, Hit & Run,
These mullahs are provoking Pakistan, Iran, Uzbekistan

Little Difference is When NATO, US attacked on Afghan Talib, they mostly run away in Pakistan.
But on other side ISIS mullah are provoking neighboring countries to attack Afghanistan, and Afghan Talib did same few months ago as they were attacking Iranis, Uzbeks and even stole border fencing of Pakistan

In reality, these proxies not defeated 2 superpowers, but 2 super powers defeated each other by using these, if you check China+Russia vs US fighting everywhere after world wars by their proxies.

Its very hard for Afghan Talib to run a stable govt for a long time, even Pakistan, EU, Arabs arrange money for Afghan Talib to run the govt.

He is a "Moron".

Great, this will set more precedent to conduct cross-border attacks on proxy launch pads inside Afghanistan. Unfortunately, Pakistan doesn't have a spine to do this but kudos to those who can.
India should volunteer with the Quad 4, these Afghans are getting out of hand.

Uzbekistan had 1 attack against it and they go full out.
Here Pakistan gets attacked almost daily and we’re still hesitant.
True. Uzbekistan is showing the world they will not let any attacks take place on their territory. If this continues I expect full Turkic attack on Afghanistan border region using drones etc.

Pakistan is the only country which suffered whilst hardly any terrorist activities took place on other neighbours. Wonder why?

This happens when a nation is alive and and cares for its citizens.

The day Pakistan attacked ttp hideouts inside Afghanistan, TTP responded and attacked Pakistan same day and at multiple locations and afterwards Pakistan went back to its usual stance of not doing anything.

All hail Bajwa and Company
This is only possible when your army is doing army’s thing

Your government gets overthrown just like that and those who swore to defend and protect decide to stay neutral should tell you a thing or two about why Pakistan remains hesitant. When priorities are misplaced, remaining hesitant is all we can do.
Let's dissect that a bit. The government in question just sat around doing nothing but lame protests to the IEA. We lost 100+ men from Jan-April and not a peep from the PTI government, not one kinetic action against the actors sitting across the border.

Perhaps that too should tell you a few things.

That’s basically the problem.. yes let’s support an opposition to the Taliban and over throw them.. but what’s the alternative? In the Tajiks you have the Northern alliance.. but who will take the leadership of the phastuns?

Have a look at this.

Anything more left to say.
It is not just PTI.

It seems to be never ending, one extremist group being replaced by the next extremist group in an endless cycle

This is likely due to the tribal culture of Afghanistan and refusal to be under the control of someone else

The neighboring countries need to talk to the taliban and devise a joint mechanism to avoid such incidents. Taliban military capacity should be increased so they can control the area.

I generally like the message IK has but on this point definitely disappointed. Not sure if his trying to appeased the tribes and IEA, but by having inaction the death of hundreds of soldiers is not forgivable just as previous governments giving the Americans free reign to kill Pakistanis with drones. Security for all citizens has to come first not appeasement to IEA or the US.
