Less than 5" of rain per year = desert.

What a great, untouched natural beauty even Pakistani deserts have! The country needs internal peace--the rest will fall in place almost automatically and in no time. The potential for tourism is enormous: Countries like Pakistan which don't see many tourists provide so many pristine, untouched places that once peace is restored international tourists will flock to Pakistan. As I said in another thread, only 5 countries in the world have this kind of extremes of geography and climate: Pakistan, India, USA, China and Chile. Pakistan is perhaps the most affordable one and has legendary hospitality as well.
