This was during the attack on the military hospital?

Remembering back to the attack on the masjid where the spokesman’s mother was being mourned, could this be part of a larger campaign by elements of the former government to assassinate ministers of the new government?

Is the Taliban really capable of stabilizing Afghanistan?

US won't let Afghanistan settle down. Hundreds of mercenaries from NATO have poured into Afghanistan to take part in further destabilising the country. Now that the Taliban are out in the open, they're easier to target and take out.

If ISI didn't took the game way inside India, then I already am seeing chashma power and Kahota blasting.
Mohan bhagwat can be a good start. I heard that Bahujan samajh guys don't like him.

These sort of events are normal in Afghanistan. There is no hope for that country. Even the Soviets and the US gave up trying to fix that place. Taliban will only make matters worse.

Says the national of a hopeless country that is being run by an extremist baboon

Even in the nation with an extremist baboon at the helm, ministers don't get assassinated randomly. Also this thread is about Afghanistan, so your comment is irrelevant/off-topic.

atleast you admit the baboon ruling the country.

then what were you doing for so many years in Afghanistan, selling corn.

Afghanistan is not China Taliban is not CCP
Anything is possible.
Mao Zedong once served as a member of the KMT Central Committee and Secretary General of the Shanghai party department, but KMT leader Chiang Kai Shek defaulted on his salary. Later, Mao Zedong left KMT because KMT defaulted on his salary of 720 silver dollars.
At that time, Chiang Kai Shek certainly did not think of the consequences of defaulting on his salary.

It would be close to impossible if world powers don't chip in to help Afghan people. There is a lot of work to be done but mostly on education and deweaponization of the society.

Not sure, only time will tell. Although they aren’t facing as much opposition (for now) as they were an opposition to the previous government. But they also have meager resources. If they don’t face much opposition and can keep their organization and troops unified, they maybe able to pull it off, similar to Mao or the Soviets after their civil war with the White Russians. Once some transit revenue starts coming in, they maybe able to cover their basic needs, and with a strong military, they could protect mining sites and the corridors out of the country for the ore.
