Well... Kejriwal can always ask them to stop distributing and can ask Delhi Electricity department to do it instead. Afterall the distribution loss has already been minimized. Interesting times ahead.

Ye to bas Shurvaat haii beta ... Lets see how the Communist Government of Delhi faces all these...

With the rising price of coal, the decision to lower the tariff is a populist but not a very practical one. AK must know the days of populist politics are over.India needs a reformist administration, not a regressive one like the 80's communists.

Nothing to worry.

After all we know Arvind Kejriwal's INTENTIONS are 'good'. :coffee:

They say the Path to HELL is Paved with Good Intentions ....... so now we also know which path he is walking us down to.

Payment crisis? This is bullsh!t! Does anyone know what the Ambanis and other discoms are paying as salaries to their fat cat managements and employees? Runs into crores! And that excludes fully paid foreign jaunts, bonuses and what not!

There's no such thing as financial discipline where salaries and wasteful expenditure is concerned. And who pays for this profligacy? You and I !!

How about electricity theft and other distribution losses? A cool 15-20%. So, instead of the discoms bellyaching, they must get their houses in order first. Or they should just STFU!

Or just cut the lines and listen to AK and Co singing "Internationale"
