He resigned after the last ambush were soldiers were killed. I think, they replaced him with somebody with counterinsurgency credential. Thing are very dicey in southeastern Tunisia. Tunisian forces are being reorganized to deal with the threats with the help of Algerian military forces. It is a true partnership between the two armies.Although they cooperated before, this the first time that they are in the field together.
