LTE network actually means 4G network. The world is moving towards 5G.

B2B and specially govt organizations move gradually on backbone systems as this reduces risks and is highly efficient on the cost side. The bling bling of new tech is for consumers as they act as finances and guineas.

This is a good development.
What this essentially means is that the PN now has an operational high bandwidth, low latency network. In short, the PN can plug in a wider variety of sensors and systems and get a huge amount of data from them in real-time (or near real-time) - improving their situational awareness capability many times.
In view of the current and upcoming new additions in the Fleet, this was a natural move. It is good to see the PN keeping up with the times and also to see them collaborating with both the public and private sector - NRTC and Huawei respectively.
For Pakistan's armed forces, network centric warfare capability is a key component of our ability to survive and advance in any future conflict. Lack of a robust network centric capability results in incidents of fratricide similar to the Indian act of shooting on an Mi-17 helicopter.
