15 Most Powerful Navies in the World

Although India also has a navy, but the Indian navy only operates near the port. And all Indian warships. submarines are cheap and low-quality assembled goods. It is hard for us to believe that Indian Navy is TOP 7.

Usually we call the Indian Navy the 'Port Navy'

India Navy is in top 3, having a vast experience in deep seas.

Indonesia has 10 frigates, 23 Corvettes and many FACs with anti ship missiles.

Our FACS are many ranging from 40 meters and 60 meters long

This is FACS with 40 meters long

Future is to build this many

Turkish Navy doesnt have any invasion experience, unlike Indonesia vs Dutch in Papua Island (larger than any Japanese Island) and Indonesia vs East Timor

Our old ships will be refurbished and modernized

"A total of 41 warships will be repaired to meet the Minimum Essential Force (MEF). Because the time required to carry out this refurbishment is quite short, so the Indonesian government in this case the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia gives confidence to PT PAL as the lead integrator," said Mr. Kaharuddin Djenod.

Under construction is this in PT PAL Indonesia shipyard

Indonesia also wants to buy Chinese Destroyer (second hand-2014 built), waiting approval from Minister of Planning and Minister of Finance, still 50:50 chance

Chinese (second hand) 52 Frigates are also about being ordered, so far has passed Planning Minister approval, about 2 ships.

I added 3 Bung-tomo class Corvettes
armed with 8 EXOCET anti-ship missiles and 16 SAMs

then 10 Frigates , 4 modern Corvettes and 4 Submarines

Your 14 Kapitan Pattimura class Corvettes from 1980s lacks anti-ship missiles and SAMs

Our 16 TUZLA class Patrol Boats have similar capability to Your 14 Kapitan Pattimura class Corvettes

Turkish Navy has 16 Frigates , 4 modern Corvettes and 14 Submarines
also TCG ANADOLU amphibious assault Ship

and Turkiye itself produce everything to build 31 new Warships to modernize the Navy

also Unmanned Fighter Jets , UCAVs , unmanned Vessels and Submarines are coming
( only a few countries in the world )

btw our 18 FACs are 57 , 58 and 62 m

1682489827842.jpeg

also 16 TUZLA class Patrol Boats ( 55 m )

East Timor ?
as like Turkish military operation in 1974 to take 1/3 of Cyprus Island in 3 days

today Turkish Navy has 1 LHD , 5 LST and 21 LCT for amphibious operations

and Turkish Navy has amphibious Commandos

For which you

1.Don't know exactly how and where to use this, because let's face it,you actually don't need it. And don't tell me "to protect Turkish interests in Somalia,Qatar,Libya". It's just an expensive, unnessary power projection thing.
2.You need to buy the British frigates just to protect it. That means you'll have ships and submarines protecting the Anadolu.

Only thing remaining for this article was to include Afghan Navy
Bhutan Navy?

East Timor ?

@Indos Don't let him try to fool you. They launched a landing operation just a few miles away against the Greek Cypriots who virtually had no Navy, except for 4 torpedo boats and patrol vessels.

Turkish Navy has amphibious Commandos? Wow. Other countries do to. They call them "Marines".

Libya is very important for Turkish MAVI VATAN Doctrine
Trillion Dollars of gas-oil reserves in the Eastern Mediterranean

and TCG ANADOLU will be enough to protect Libyan government in Tripoli

Turkiye can deploy TCG ANADOLU in Libya
and 50 TB-3 and KIZILELMA to eliminate any threat against Libyan government in Tripoli

in 2024 TB-3 and in 2025 KIZILELMA will be ready to operate on TCG ANADOLU
enough air power support

2.You need to buy the British frigates just to protect it. That means you'll have ships and submarines protecting the Anadolu.

4 ISTIF class Frigates will be delivered to the Turkish Navy between 2023 and 2026

now 4 modernized GABYA Frigates and 4 modernized MEKO-200 Frigates are enough to protect TCG ANADOLU

Also first Type-214 Submarine enter service in 2023
year by year 6 Type-214 Submarines enter service until 2026

So in 2025 TCG ANADOLU strike group

-- TCG ANADOLU with 50 TB-3 and KIZILELMA
-- TCG DERYA Sea Supply Combat Support Ship
-- 2 ISTIF class Frigates
-- 2 MEKO-200 Frigates
-- 1 ADA Corvette
-- 2 Submarines ( REIS and GUR class )

Yeah East Timor has very strong military power to match with Indonesia
East Timor is full of joke

today Turkish Navy has 1 LHD , 5 LST and 21 LCT with thousands of Marines ( amphibious Commandos )

to deploy 10.000 troops and 500 Tanks , IFVs , AFVs , also 50 UCAVs , Attack Helicopters

East Timor is supported by Communist Alliance (USSR+China).

Man, you dont say joke for a country that is dare enough to declare its intention to invade part of India in 1965 and already send 2 submarines to Pakistan. The 1965 Pak-Indo war ended after the Indonesian submarines arrived in Karachi

Ah you learned what Marines are?

You can not teach me anything
I teach you what about the Turkish Navy

We are calling them Ampihibous Commandos

including SAT and SAS Commandos of the Turkish Navy

Forgive me for being blunt.

Even if the navies of France, Britain, India, and the three countries merge, they cannot defeat the South Korean navy.

The Navy includes the Marine Corps and the Naval Aviation Corps.

Secondly, if it was five years ago, the Japanese navy could indeed rank ahead of the South Korean navy, but now it cannot.
I know Korea has made some great strides in building Destroyers, Frigates and Submarines, but you still think that they are better than Navies with state of the art nuclear subs, aircraft carriers ? Here I am particularly talking about Royal Navy which are second only to US in Blue Naval capability but lack in numbers.

The British Navy currently only has 6 destroyers(type 45) and 13 frigates(type 23). I almost forgot, there is also a sail battleship, the HMS Victory.

This is not only due to a shortage of quantity, but also the capabilities of type 45 and type 23 are far inferior to those of the KD-3 and FFX-3 in South Korea.

Of course, you would definitely say SSN and CV. After all, without considering nuclear submarines, the Russian Navy cannot rank third.

But can relying solely on the HMS Queen Elizabeth and SSN really challenge the South Korean navy?

I know you're talking about 35 F35B. But you know South Korea has also purchased 60 F35, and they also have 60+ F15K, 180+ F16, and 60+ FA50. They also have a complete aircraft manufacturing industry that can continuously supplement fighter jets.

As for the 10 SSN in the UK, you can search for the anti submarine capabilities of the South Korean Navy yourself. Secondly, South Korea also has 19 SS.

The biggest gap between the British and South Korean navies lies in South Korea's shipbuilding industry. If the two countries enter a long-term war, the time it takes for Britain to build a warship, the Koreans can build a hundred.

Looking at the Ukrainian war, we should know that wars between major powers do not have winners in a short period of time. The reserves before the war will soon run out. Ultimately, it will inevitably be a competition between the industrial strength of two countries.
