Chinese working visa in Bangladesh black market

Chinese working visa in Bangladesh black market :: Weekly Blitz

by News Desk
August 4, 2012

For some years, few groups of locals are continuing illegal trade of selling Chinese working visas to the local in exchange of significant amount of money. Although selling of Chinese working visas are totally illegal, some unscrupulous local rackets in Bangladesh are not only selling such visas, but also collecting money from the people by publishing advertisements in the prominent dailies in Bangladesh. Once of such advertisements was published in vernacular daily Ittefaq on 3rd August 2012 [Page 11]. In the advertisement titled "Grand Opportunity of Working in China" [Mobile phone number: 0161-1979680, 0171-5302143], it was stated that any Bangladeshi within the age of 30 years and with eight grades educational qualification can contact them and go to China to work. The advertiser promised US$ 1219 as monthly salary for the Bangladeshis who would work in China. It may be mentioned here that, in China's Shenzhen or Guangzhou cities, where labor is very expensive, the average locals even do not get salary exceeding US$ 500, while it is impossible for any Bangladeshi to earn US$ 1219 in China.

Illegal South Asians in China:

Thousands of Bangladeshis, Indians and Pakistanis are living in China's Kunming, Guangzhou and Shenzhen cities, mostly with invalid visas, and are engaged in series of financial activities. Some of them are even involved in crime rackets such as drug peddlers etc. Since 2010, few Bangladeshis are taking local women into China with fake identity and all of these women are forced into secret brothels inside various cities in China. In Guangzhou alone, there are few thousand Bangladeshis, Indians and Pakistanis with invalid or date expired visas. They skip legal consequences by regularly bribing the Chinese police and other law enforcement agencies. Many of the South Asian nationals are involved in drug peddling or human trafficking as well as forcing trafficked women into prostitution. According to information, only in Guangzhou city, there are more than one dozen of secret brothel owned by Bangladeshis, Indians and Pakistanis, where hundreds of trafficked girls and women are forced into prostitution. In most cases, these girls are offered to foreign tourists in Guangzhou area, while they also are sent into hotel rooms of Arabs and Westerners in exchange of heavy sum of money.

Surprising news  ... didn't hear about this before! China itself has huge unemployment rate, how do they manage these people from South Asia? Besides, Chinese working visa is also a new thing to me...does there really exist something like this, this kind of visa is generally provided by first world countries or mid east like rich nations?
