Chinese company sacks Indian employees over technology theft, border standoff

This is very much in line with chinese behavior and culture.

There was news reports that Indian airline passengers were not treated well by their ground staff during a transit journey. That is just the one's that got reported.

DUBAI: A Chinese Telecom company has removed its Indian national employees from it Tehran and Doha units, sources said Wednesday.


The Chinese telecom company has operative units in Tehran the capital of Iran and Doha, Qatar.

The Chinese company in Tehran received orders to sack the employees Tuesday, while similar orders were received by the company’s management in Doha where Indian employees were immediately sacked.

However, there has been no official confirmation by Iran and Qatar of dismissing Indian employees.

The reason for dismissal of Indian employees is said to be border standoff between China and India besides alleged theft of the technology.

There were also reports of sacking the Indian employees from other the company Gulf countries.

The headquarters of the Chinese telecom company is located in Guangdong province of China and deals in telecommunication networks and production of telecommunication devices.

Mr.Brainy jammer the reason is simple if a company has its presence from 1999 and has invested in a new R&D center just 2 years back they wont close down and waste all their investment just for a border issue until the CEO is a Pakistani who wants Kashmir to be liberated from India
 
If it were true...why didn't any Indian news channel picked up, given the military standoff at Doklam? This certainly qualifies as masala news that Times Now and Arnab Channel would have repeated all day.
