China vs USA in Myanmar

Myanmar will probably side with China. It would foolish to make enemies of a neighbor who is an emerging superpower.

This is why believe that a Pakistan-China-Russia-Myanmar axis is the way to go.

Myanmar should also be invited to joing SCO. Only if Russia ditches India, SCO would actually be taken seriously.

The US simply demand too much from a country such as Myanmar and by different groups. The Administration, the Congress, business interests, human right groups, environmental groups and freedom advocates etc, and they all demand Changes in Myanmar. Eventually both the Government and the people will get sick and tire of their demands and take harder lines again.

For the meantime they have no choices, the US/west embargo have been hurting their economy for so many years and they need the investments and markets for their products. Of course they should not forget China for she's been helping them all these year while the were locked out by the west.
