It is talking about China importing a whole host of engines.

It seems that China's indigenous engines are quite some distance away from being functional.

It seems like russian media making another bullshit as its hope

russia wants china to keep buying its rubbish engine for making money

but

there is no reason china still use such troublesome russian engine for new platform,

otherwise for maintenance of exising Il-76 and Il-78 in china

currently, china put russian engine for only experimental platform

many chinese engineers blame russian engine for its low reliability and frequent default,

constantly causing serial crashes of russian engine installed J10A fighters

china bought russian engine only for reserve or experimental reason, not for new platform

It may indicate that China decided not to pursuit WS-18, which is a copy of D30. D30 is not only used for Y-20, but also H6K bombers. Y-20 has an option of using WS-20, but H6K has no choice other than using either D30 or its copy WS-18.

Come on ,don't post junk. The cold fact is the FWS-18 still can not replace the decades old D-30 AND the FWS-20 is not ready yet. Take the fact, nothing more, nothing less.
P.S: ONLY positive part is they did not import the AL-31 anymore.

China just signed a contract to import more AL-31. About 100 of them. It is OK to encounter difficulties as long as they keep beating on it.
