China blocks 'Egypt' on microblogging service

Whats your point of posting all this so-called sources when it was being debunked by the official media news and pictures which i posted?

while coverage of the political turmoil has been tightly restricted in state media.

China’s ruling Communist Party is sensitive to any potential source of social unrest.

So, does the above content in each of your "sources" prove to be true?

This shows how chinese govt feels insecure about the social turmoil happening in other faraway country can influence chinese people hence the censorship of news.

The political long run of Mubarak is just the starter of the turmoil, high unemployment of young people and disappointing economy is the main reason of it which is not the case in China here.

For short, most people in China is too busy to pay attention to what happened in Egypt.

what a bullshit article! cctv and many major websites in China all have reported the news about Egypt turmoil these days!some indian members here in this post are so ignorant,no wonder most people in india and indian media like to claim india to be a superpower!!~~~

indian media like to claim india to be a superpower!!~~~

Kinda off-topic , But i don't recall any Indian media outlet claiming "india to be a superpower!!~~~"

Besides, the thread starter is a Bangladeshi, also why beat the messenger ?

People don't seem to understand that twitter is different than print media with it's ability to be interactive and gather people en masse.

And Bangladeshis are not considered as Indian.

It took Egypt only a matter of days before rolling out their tanks? I hope America and the EU will not sanction them as quickly as they did with China?

By the way, what does showing the news and not showing it has to do with China?

Firstly the opening post was obviously fabricated with ill intentions.

Secondly America has the "Internet Kill Switch", which it will not be too shy of using. It makes blocking out words on search engines a child's play.
