Captured bomber and Swat GOC link India to terrorism in Pak

^^^^ Thedawn article states that the foreign office has also said that such topics were discussed.

Do you really think that the joint speech text issued will cover hours spent in the meeting room.A person can barely cover a 10 min meeting in one page document.

.

Well the speech text had mentioned Pakistan handing over Mumbai Terror Dossier to India ...and by the way ...do you think a a line mentioning Pakistan Handing over Terror proofs to India would have increased the length of the document to be unmanageable:woot:....it would have added at the most 30 words.... a line .....may be..:undecided:

t would have added at the most 30 words.... a line

30 words may be a line but our present government is not supporting the stance properly. Go watch the videos posted by Fox. A serving maj general who is leading the operation will provide you all the answers.

those who wanted to be heard came out and voted...those who didn't...well they have nobody to blame but themselves. So those representatives are the ones who have the right to speak on behalf of the state and whose words carry weight.

Democracy in pakistan is more like dictatorship. The parties are not democratic at all and most those votes were bought or were given to chacha, mama, taia's acquaintances.

Great....your so called Intelligence people can't convince your own government :hitwall:and you decided to go all out and convince the whole wide world....:bounce::what:

Its not about convincing, those guys hardly care about us. The only thing they care about is Kursi. Stick around and you will see another political drama in coming few days after friday.

Of course the government is convinced -that is why the issue was raised in Egypt with India, an evidence dossier provided to India, and a reference to it made in the joint statement.

Where some Pakistanis criticize the government is in not taking a very public stance against India, sort of like the one the GoI took against Pakistan after the Mumbai attacks.

The reasons for that, IMO, are because an openly public stance against India on her support for terrorism in Pakistan would vitiate the atmosphere, with then both sides flinging accusations at each other. The media would exacerbate the situation, and the leadership of both countries would find it very hard to engage with the other side in the face of public pressure and hysteria.

And when it comes down to it, such a public anti-India position would not resolve anything, since the two sides would not be talking, would be blaming each other, and would essentially continue the covert activities in the other nation.

Yes there might be a PR success but a PR success does nothing in terms of addressing the actual issue of ending support for the Baluch insurgents by India.

The latter can only come about through dialog with India, and by making the US aware of it - though on the latter, given US economic and strategic interests with India (and Obama has publicly admitted that his policies shall be driven keeping in mind US interests first and foremost), it is not necessary that the US will act to pressure India even if we shove evidence up Hollbrooke and McChrystal's arse.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan says it has handed over to India evidence of the involvement of its external spy agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) in
terrorist activities in this country, including the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore and on a police academy on the outskirts of the city earlier this year.

Quoting sources, Dawn said on Wednesday a dossier containing proof of India's involvement in "subversive activities" in Pakistan was handed over by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh during their meeting at Sharm el-Sheikh last week.

The evidence has also been shared with the US and Afghanistan, with Kabul being asked to prevent the use of its territory for disruptive activities against Pakistan.

"Although the information given to India is being kept highly secret, broad outlines of the dossier available with Dawn reveal details of Indian contacts with those involved in attacks on the Sri Lankan cricket team and the Manawan police station," the newspaper said.

"Operatives of RAW who remained in touch with the perpetrators of the attacks have been identified and proof of their interaction have been attached," it added.

A description of Indian arms and explosives used in the attack on the Sri Lankan team has been made part of the dossier, besides which the names and particulars of the perpetrators, who illegally entered Pakistan from India and joined their accomplices who had reached Lahore from Waziristan, have been mentioned, the report said.

The dossier is also said to list the safe houses being run by RAW in Afghanistan where terrorists are trained and launched for missions in Pakistan.

"The dossier also broadly covers the Indian connection in terror financing in Pakistan.

A substantial part of the shared material deals with the Balochistan insurgency and Indian linkages with the insurgents, particularly Bramdagh Bugti, Burhan and Sher Khan," Dawn said.

Photographs of their meetings with Indian operatives are part of the evidence, which also describes Bugti's visit to India and the meetings he had with Indian secret service personnel, it added.

The dossier also mentions an India-funded training camp in Kandahar where Baloch insurgents, particularly those from Bugti clan, were being trained and provided arms and ammunition for sabotage activities in the Pakistani province.

Dawn quoted its sources as saying that Manmohan Singh had agreed to "look into Pakistani claims" and to take "corrective action" if proven. He is said to have assured Mr Gilani that India is against interference in other countries and Pakistan's stability was important for them.

"Yes, these issues were discussed," Foreign Office spokesperson Abdul Basit said when asked about the meeting.

Good to see this made it as the main headline on most of the Indian media.

that is very spot on:tup:
though, on one hand I feel that Pakistan should take the same stand let the whole world know what the Indian agencies are doing or have done in Pakistan through Afghanistan now that there is ample proof but on the other hand I feel that we shouldn't take the same cheap approach that Indian media and political parties did, some one should act responsibly and if that has to be us then so be it. What matters are end result where people on both sides are living in peace not deprived of basic necessities of life and these stupid stand offs will never ever help either nation.

Well . when PAK Dont have any proof they make hue and cry dont know what happen when they have real evidence.

The ample of proof you call is your imaginary proof.

1) PAK Proof, Indian Consulates have hundreds of People working their
Reality: US & World Said only 4 Person was their working in consulates border to PAK.

2) PAK we shared the evidence against India with World
Reality: No Other Country issued any statement on PAK Proof or any evidence.

One should check the reality and reality is totally different.

Wow, Look the line

details of Indian contacts with those involved in attacks on the Sri Lankan cricket team and the Manawan police station,"

It didn't showed that RAW involved in attacked, PAK ISI is maintaining contacts with Taliban , which is admitted by ISI Chief, so is it ISI supporting Taliban in attacking against US forces and Looting in Supply Lines?

PAK only said that they have contacts with this and that is a proof, but when things came to PAK, these contacts are not a proof.

US never said any proof provided by PAK against India and said in India's case.

Democracy in pakistan is more like dictatorship. The parties are not democratic at all and most those votes were bought or were given to chacha, mama, taia's acquaintances.

They are still more believable than any other source...as I said their words carry the most weight....and they cannot afford to point fingers or make statements without solid proofs to backup their claims...and since there aren't any, they can't accuse India...simple.

Have you seen the videos. Atleast two maj generals are saying that india is involved and that too on open media. Why would they say so if it was wrong. And ISPR has not issued a press release retracting their statements.
