As for 5G, I've had it for the last two years. No 5G killer app exists. Chinese don't have any unique 5G experience that Americans don't. 5G to date is a dud for the average consumer globally.

5G is cool, however not really that useful. 5G is aimed at phones, which aren't really used for science.

It's usually computers, and they have optic fibers that are better than 5G.
 
You just said last month Tesla was dead and here it is July and Tesla has sold a record number of cars in China. So much for your theory (again) that the Chinese public has turned their back on Tesla.

When is the BYD Han EV "world car" going to crack 20,000 in worldwide sales? It’s been out for over 2 years now and breaking 15,000 is a miracle month. Meanwhile Tesla Model Y sells over three times that in just China nevermind the rest of the world.

Now another Asian company BYD beats US Tesla.
I hope more Asian companies will beat Western/US companies or be on the par with them.

BYD has to use PHEVS and Teslas Shanghai factory closing for 2 months to "beat" Tesla. That says it all. And BYD has no chance in outproducing Tesla in the years ahead.

You still don't get that Tesla has now become essentially a Chinese company - Chinese manufacturing, Chinese technology (CATL and BYD batteries), and a CEO head over heels in love with China.

There's a reason China allowed Tesla to set up in China and I'm going to tell you what it is: Tesla is just a tool to power Chinese dominance of the automobile's future.

The issue is Tesla is so successful (especially in China) that it simply can’t keep up with the battery demand. It has not only car batteries (1 million sold last year) but also

It is currently frantically buying batteries from whomever can supply them. Which includes South Korea, China, Japan, and its own production.

He can’t even advertise his car here because there is already a year backlog on some models. If he advertised there would be a 10 year backlog and he’d piss people off.

Volvo is controlled by China Geely Automobile Group. The lithium battery(Core parts of electric vehicle) of BMW I4 series comes from China CATL.

Usually, the price of a Chinese electric vehicle can buy 5 to 10 Suzuki Maruti.

And you don't even have the infrastructure to use electric cars.
